Hello, I'm Caldastaa. I will be guiding you on my way of playing Ashe today.

First off, here are my top rules/tips for being a successful Ashe player.

Dont be too greedy: Can you get that kill for sure? Go for it. Do you have a 50/50 chance of dying? Dont go for it. The reason is that Ashe is a champion that would be defined as a "Hard-Carry". A Hard-Carry usually has a weaker early game and a stronger late game. This is why it is very important that you live and farm as long as possible.

Last hit! : It is incredibly easy to gank someone that is overextending, especially an Ashe. Last hitting is very important for your early game farm do it as much as possible and harass while you are at it!

PROTIP- If you see 2 minions quickly dying shoot one of them twice to "last hit" then shoot the other, this will then allow you to get both of them instead of only one. Whats the difference? Oh, about 20 gold. What the difference long term? possibly that 300 gold you would have needed to get that BF sword.

Gank: This is a very important part of the game, being pvp and all. Ashe's ult is probably one of the best gank setup tools in the entire game. Not only can you assist top or bottom while keeping your farm going, but it is also an amazing escape tool.

Do not be greedy with your ult, saving it is good, but its such a short cooldown that you can potentially assist your team in getting a kill in another lane. What does this mean for you personally? Assist gold, teammates get fed, enemy tower dies and you get more gold, enemy died and they are now at a disadvantage power-wise. the list goes on and on.

Dont be afraid of "killstealing": Don't hold back because of teammates accusing you of killstealing, always play your best and always do as much damage to the enemy as possible. However, don't go in to take a kill from a teammate that obviously was going to get the kill, that's just way out of line and you deserve to be raged at.

These are the key components to playing EFFECTIVELY.

And please always remember if you go negative (more deaths than kills) FARM! You were put at a disadvantage, and you now need to make up for it. Also, ignore people that call you a feeder if you are say.. 1/4/9 kda. you died 4 times but you took part in 10 enemy deaths, that more than makes up for it!

Straight Damage Marks x9 - This makes last hitting much much easier and gives you some excellent early game harass. Making the enemy bluepill is almost as good as a kill since you now have the experience and gold advantage.

Mp5/level seals x9 - These seals are perfectly scaling with your increasing mana costs. I rarely have to bluepill because of being ineffective due to a depleted mana pool.

CDR/level glyphs x9 - These glyphs scale really well, allowing you to literally spam volley late-game. A must have IMO.

You may be wondering why I chose the masteries the way I did, so heres a brief explanation on some questions that I think may arise.

Q: Why not go 21 points into offense?

A: I feel that Lethality (10% more crit damage at rank 3) and Havoc (5% damage increase) are not optimal for how I play Ashe. I do not revolve my build around relying on something unreliable(crit). Havoc isnt really very good to me because of this math... you shoot an enemy 20 times for 100 damage each shot totalling 2000 damage, with havoc you shoot the enemy 20 times for 2100 damage, just not very useful.

Q: Why would you get Offensive Mastery? It only gives you 4 more damage to minions.
A: Last hitting, makes it easier. Easier last hits means more last hits, more last hits means more gold.

Q: Why Pick Greed(1 gold per 10/sec) and Meditation (1 mp5 at rank 3)?

A: Greed is just a filler skill since nothing else is really useful other than what I have already selected, plus extra gold is always useful. Meditation is more mp5 on a mana starved champion. Win/Win

I love Doran's Blade, Gives you more survivability, damage, and staying power.

Boots of Swiftness are a must have on Ashe. Gives amazing mobility to you, a champ that relies heavily on positioning.
