This guide is a lot like how I used to build with her, and it was pretty solid. The only thing I really have any doubts about is going magic pen quints and marks, then doing magic pen boots AND void staff. I feel like if you're going to stack those runes, all the extra penetration from boots and staff combined aren't needed.
Something interesting to try - take boots of swiftness or mobility instead, and grab void staff before zhonya's. I think it gives her some much needed mobility (Without teleport you really have very little way to get around) and it also gives you the magic penetration only a tiny bit later than you would have had it. :) +1 though.

This is a decent guide but I find that what you do on her can drastically change your build.
For example:
Solo laning: I would say get Q then W because this really helps with holding your lane versus anyone. I am yet to have someone push me back and most times I can hold 2 people.
Cass is extremly strong early to mid game, the twin fang (if used correctly) can push back just about anyone.
