Introduction

Who am I ?

Hello everyone, Its Alireza knows as Machinegun Corki (EUW), i've been Corki otp since early Season 11, and i was like there isn't any guide content fully enough to understand what the Champion capable of.

In this guide im going to show you every single thing about Corki, his Abilities, Builds, Gameplay etc ..


-Inventor of RavHydra / Galeforce
Abilities

Q : Phosphorus Bomb AoE bomb and reveals. Corki launches a bomb at the target location that explodes upon impact, dealing magic damage to enemies hit and also grants vision of the area or reveals enemy champion hit.



W : Valkyrie Dash that burns. Corki dashes to the target location and drops bombs that leave up to 3 blazing patches along his path.
Whenever he pickup the Package Corki dashes with Unstoppable displacement immunity to the target location, Airborne knocking aside all enemies and Enemies hit by his dash or within the trail are burned and slowed.



E : Gatling Gun AoE dot and reducing resistances. Corki sprays bullets in a cone toward his facing direction for 4 seconds, and reducing the target's Armor + Magic resistances with each tick for everyone, lasting for 2 seconds and stacking up to 8 times.



R : Missile Barrage Rocket from far away. Corki fires a missile in the target direction that explodes upon
the first enemy hit, dealing damage to enemies within the area.
Every third missile Corki fires is a Big One, dealing increased damage as well as gaining increased
range and explosion radius.


P : Hextech Munitions Package delivery. After 10:00, The Package is delivered to both corners of the allied fountain, Upon completion of the channel, Corki gains one cast of Special Delivery Special Delivery for 60 seconds, replacing Valkyrie for the duration.
Summoner Spells

When playing Corki, you should choose either Flash and Teleport or Exhaust and Teleport. You can take either of these setups in specific matchups, however, I’d recommend you go Exhaust with Poke build setup against EVERY Assassin MID to stop their all-in, and take Flash in other matchups.

Summoner Spells
Always
Flash This is a summoner spell that you MUST have. Helps you to be safe in laningphase.
Can be used with your Package + W + Flash or just dodge abilities.
Favorite
Teleport allows you to mitigate Minion loss/xp for example, when you messed up a wave in laningphase or just did a bad trade ? well you can teleport to save the lane with no trouble.
Situational
Only pick Exhaust into matchups with a lof of burst damage. for example vs Assassins with Poke setup such as Qiyana / Talon/ Katarina etc and specially always vs Viktor .
Pros and Cons

Pros :


+ Safe laningphase

+ Good vs tanks

+ Carry potential

+ Good objective securing with Hextech Munitions

+ Great 2item/3item

+ Unreachable with Galeforce



Cons :


- No Crowd-Control

- Becomes useless when behind ( only Package will be useful )

- Slow early game

- Squishy like all ADCs

- Highly focused

- One mistake with Package = lose

- Expensive items

First Strike is only viable option for Corki, allows you to mine some golds to buy expensive items. Try to trade when it's up.

Magical Footwear Comes up with free boots that you get to focus on buying stat items. Generally you take it on champs that don’t need to rush boots.

Since Biscuit Delivery nerf in patch 12.14, only Future's Market is usable. for those who dont know when or how to abuse future market value. it's really simple. Purchase an item before important fight or generally helps in early game with awkward gold.

Cosmic Insight is always best choice because of less cooldown on Teleport in early game, and less cooldown on Flash so you can do flashy plays with Package+W+Flash and win some games.

One of the best Scaling rune is Conditioning , it brings nothing early, but the the Greatest rune when it activates.

Overgrowth is being abused by Longer games. Just have to make sure you CS a lot which you should be doing anyway.


- Also those are only options in Resolve tree.

- Health rune shard isn't necessary but if you are confident enough that you can survive laningphase, go for it.

Same Inspiration tree as i said before, but there are some changes in secondary runes.

Manaflow Band increaseses your manapool, so the trick is stack manaflow as much as possible before first Teleport. Scales insanely good alongside with Muramana

Gathering Storm is a Great scaling rune.

Absolute Focus is the most greediest rune in entire game. If you survive laningphase it carries your damage by 10x. Replace with Manaflow Band

One of the synergy it has is that being FullHP with Package up.
Itemization

Mythics
Trinity Force
Corki starts at 55 base AD. It scales up to 102 base AD at level 18. Trinity Force deals 200% base AD as damage on a 1.5 second cooldown. This cooldown means that, even at base attack speed, if you are autoing with 100% uptime, you're only getting that 150 damage bonus at level 18 on every other attack and also abilities are so low cooldown which means Sheen gonna be proc'ed every second.



Galeforce
This powerful item provides alot of strength first because of how Corki can play without a Flash + you can't get caught in any scenarios and play aggressively 1v1, reasoning is You have Exhaust BUT they do not
i recommend increase your micro as well as being comfortable on the champ first. Once you’ve got that though galeforce adds an additional dash you can abuse to gap close, dodge, burst, etc and is a great outplay tool.


Boots

Sorcerer's Shoes
Standard boots for every game. Gives you flat magic pen which is good for early and mid game. Corki in general as a champ powerspikes at Muramana and Sorcerer's Shoes.


Legendries
Manamune
ALLTIME FAVOURITE Corki ITEM, his kit revolves around basic attacks and Abilities. Manamune simply synergizes perfectly with Corki's playstyles and builds.
Rapid Firecannon
Perfect 3rd item on Corki with Crit version if you are in range of Autoattack.
Offers really useful stats and passive. Go for Rapid Firecannon when they have more of a pick that runs at you.
Bloodthirster
Losing HP before a fight and having no sustain as an ADC champ really sucks, so to avoid that pick it when you know you WILL take damage pretty much no matter what you do.
Guardian Angel
Primary defensive item. the item itself is really problematic for enemy because of having two lives, extremely useful if you're the sole win condition in the team. also counters Reset/Burst champions known as
Viego , Zed
Immortal Shieldbow
Immortal Shieldbow is a build when we are looking for a enough Survivability and Life steal for Corki , pretty much a solid item choice against burst champions who can deal lots of damage to you in a short period of time.



POKE VERSION :


Ravenous Hydra
Perfect item after Manamune, i like building it 2nd, have some reasons behind it. First it grants you more Lifesteal which means you are never going to die in any scenarios, Second is you cheat laningphase by Q ing in middle of the wave and you can focus on clearing jungle camps or rotating.

Maw of Malmortius
As an ADC its more likely you have less MR than others. Maw of Malmortius normally builts on 4rd,
3th when AP enemies are super ahead but if they're not Hexdrinker or just Null-Magic Mantle is also fine.

Anathema's Chains
Gives best defensive stats, build it whenever they do have alot of Penetration items such as Serylda's Grudge / Void Staff. it becomes useless if you continue stacking ARMOR / MAGIC RESIST. Mark someone who is only threat to you.

Frozen Heart
Take a look at the enemy champions and see how reliant they are on Autoattacks AND you will be in range to apply the aura on them. going for Frozen Heart Always needed when nobody in team can't build it. Remember Frozen Heart doesn't work into Master Yi

Spirit Visage
The best defensive magic resist option is always Force of Nature for Corki. Unless you have Healer champions such as Soraka / Sona and also it Synergizes well with Ravenous Hydra.


Silvermere Dawn
The item itself comes from Quicksilver Sash which is great into enemies with CC(except airbones)/spell effects, following example abilities are Malzahar's Nether Grasp / Mordekaiser's Realm of Death / Urgot's Fear Beyond Death etc ..

On top of that you gain 50% Tenacity, 50% Slow resist, and Ghosting for 3 seconds


Void Staff
Void Staff is percentage-based magic penetration, which means that the more MR your opponents have, the more valuable Void Staff is.
In a good portion of your games, at least one of your teammates will be an AP champion, which means the enemies will likely build some MR. So Void Staff would be a solid choice.
General Gameplay / Mindsets


Some mindset examples to consider playing Corki :


Corki's gameplay in the early game is quite simple. Your first goal should be always prioritize CSing over bullying enemy laner due weak early damage and goes out of mana quickly ( if not being managed ) plus he's not a bully in early stages.

Shoving is an option too because they way it works is that by pushing, your opponent is forced to react to minions and you have a opportunity to trade.

Pushing is not permenant way to play. in some cases you gotta play defensive.


Early item goal must be Tear of the Goddess and some extra Long Swords, never complete Caulfield's Warhammer. having 3 LS increases damage in short trades with First Strike




Opening trading as Corki depends what type of champion you are versing :

If it's a Melee champion, Most of the time the combo is E + AA in first few levels.
For example hitting E + AA combo to Yone is just troll. if he is any good he will walk up and run you down
with Lethal Tempo. So it's better to adapt different things in any MU.



Once you achieved level 6, it's alot easier to farm from far away.



At 10 minutes Hextech Munitions comes, ALWAYS save it for important Drakes .
Unless it's Cloud Drake . if it is, Pick it up for a roam.

In addition remember timing it right for next Fights,
try to pick it up around 0:40/0:30 before an objective respawn

- BE PATIENT WITH YOUR Hextech Munitions



As Corki you want to stay mid as long as you can because of how good your waveclear is. If your botlane got the first turret and wants to join midlane, It’s very important to also not share exp since the support will probably try to defend midlane with you, you want to catch up solo lane exp and start exerting pressure in a side lane.


Unlike some midlaners : Syndra , Veigar
You have alot of split pushing powers, Create pressure and force them to come and defend vs you.

One of good things about splitpushing is the fact that you will often get a massive EXP/CS lead compared to everyone else while other players are grouped and sharing experience / farm, you get everything for your own.



In later stages of the game you damage will be extremely high so you should be grouping since you can be constantly DPSing in your team's backline.

1 . When do we decide which build is better?

A : We should analyze some factors that contains "Matchups" and "Comp".

Matchups :
In some matchups where you beat enemy mids with Trinity Force version of Corki and sometimes with the other setup.
( it comes with experience )

Comp :
Enemy has alot of 3 AP/AD champs. It's alot easier to stack resistances in Pokebuild.





2 . Luden's Tempest still viable ?


A : NO! DONT



3 . Elixir of Sorcery or Elixir of Wrath

A : Elixir of Wrath


4 . Statikk Shiv as an item ?

Unnecessary wave clear and you won't be able to lifesteal. Waste of money tbh

This is it for one of my first attempts in a written guide. I hope this guide made it easier to understand different type of playstyle and what runes/item does go well together.
