Introduction

A quick guide on a squishy all-out AD-Sona aimed at messing up the enemies game by switching between AD/burst-kiting and healing support
Back to Top

Summary

Just a short guide on building a squishy yet mobile all out AD-Sona. Early game dance a lot and kite. Later use speed and heals to support your team. When they start to focus you be a lure and take attention of your team. When they dont, hit them with hit and run attacks and burst damage. You are extremely squishy so you will need good positioning.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Very good at messing up the enemies game by constant harassing and mediating damage
- Mess up the other teams focus by switching between frontline harassing and backline support constantly
- huge burst
- highly mobile
- irresistable lure, use low health (with heal ready) and speed to draw the enemy into your team crowd
- great at defense around towers

Cons
- very squishy, somewhat risky to play
- vulnerable to cc if not avoided
- slightly dependent on good teamplay early on
- wont get many kills but your supports will be through the roof

Items

Mainly AD items. Tear for increased mana and with Manamune higher AD. Sheen for AD-synergy. Dont bother with Trinity till the very End because you wont need its features beyond what Sheen provides. No attack speed items because u are too squishy for constant output. Your focus will be hit-and-run and burst. Youmuus blade to hunt down low-health enemies or save yourself.

adjust to enemy items, if they armor up get armor penetration, dont bother with life or armor/resistance! speed, positioning and teamplay is your defense

Skill Sequence

Max valor or celerity first, either one is usefull, in any case perseverance is ur main priority.

Abilities are heal and clarity. You will need the mana and should support allies mana and luring with low health to fire the heal is one of the strategies.

Runes

Pick ad runes and cooldown reduction.

Team Work

Early on kite aggressively. Farm at the side with valor - its not ur main weapon against champs. Alyways keep a minimum of mana for an escape/ally rescue with perseverance and celerity. Use the bushes to avoid skillshots.

Midgame help ur team with speedbuff to get around (jungle and gank).

Late game stay with ur team. Switch between kite and burst at the front-line and support and luring at the backline. Dont waste power-cords on minions if u dont have to.
