I just quickly ran through your guide and I have to say, that compared to some other guides in general this one somehow makes sense to me (even though I don't play Mordekaiser myself).

Well done!

I love Mordo, who dislikes a glass-cannon-yet-tanky-enough champion? He only loses to Dr. Mundo in terms of healing, he wins against 99% of melee champions, does full AP and stays tank, has built-in shield, can refill entire life on camps, can take a pet (two with herald, GO POKELOL), can take the hyper-fed 100/0 enemy ADC and use him to win the game.

I can say all why Mordo is one of the best champions (if only had less bugs (a guy wrote a book with them)), nice work with this guide!

Ive never adc'd as Mord but now I definitely plan to! Thanks a lot! Keep up the good work and maybe make a jungle build for him too?

sry for the late reply, yes i might consider a jungle build as i have had much success with it in the past due to dragon push op early on. the only cons to morde jungle is that you rely allot on the laner your ganking's cc so its like shyvanna. I recommend getting a top lane tank duo or mid laner like galio.

So why no CDR? I feel like Morde can benefit greatly from CDR.

CDR is not that good on morde due to how his Q W and ult work. His Q goes on cooldown after you use all three and not like riven Q. Your W goes on cooldown after 4 second on using it and his ult already has a low cooldown when your ghost dies it will have like a 10-20 sec cooldown.

This guide has been so helpful for morde top and im going to start using him adc soon but What do you think about an Amumu support for him, provides good amounts of cc and his passive would stack a good amount of extra damage , what do you think?

Amumu support could work with morde in low elo as your lv6 powerspike with his lv6 stun is great. The only cons is that from lvl 1-6 you would have to play safe as a 1 sec stun on amumu Q is not enough time for morde to get in melee range of the enemy adc and deal deal damage. There are better options however the potential of a 3 second stun by lv6 and true damage is not to be underestimated.

I really like your guide, but I had some questions in regards to the runes.

Scorch is obviously very good, but an alternate be Waterwalking? Mordekaiser has a ton of mobility problems and I feel like Celerity + Waterwalking would mitigate this a bit.

Also, since Mordekaiser isn't really a tank (really an AP off tank) wouldn't the Domination secondary line be more suited for his kit? Taste of blood + Ravenous Hunter would synergize really well with the heals received from hextech gunblade.

Waterwalking could be a good rune if you are going mid lane and are going to roam, however in the top lane scorch is just a better option for that extra poke in laning phase. The taste of blood and ravenous hunter combo is good if you know you will stomp lane and will be rushing gunblade for that extra heal.

Love this guide man, would love to hear some more insight into your opinions on his role into the meta and what you find to be the most suitable team comp to work around him.

Hey thanks for the feedback, I think morde is sleeper op in lower elo's (bronze - plat) since he punishes much of the mistakes we do and hes very good for climbing if you master him, the recent AP changes benefited him allot and i have noticed the liandry's burn has become much stronger mid-late game, you also have morello so they wont be healing to gaurantee you a ghost. Morde's role is to be the main AP damage dealer in teamfights and he excels at beating any kind of frontline squishies, yi or zed for example. He's also very good at turning teamfights in your favor when the need arises. For a team comp, i would think any team with good amount of CC, for example [Sejuani/Maokai jungle, Malzahar mid, Varus ADC, Leona/Alistar supp] Morde is nothing but damage he offers zero cc, so he synergies very well with any champ with good cc.
