Introduction

I inspired myself to make this guide because I carried my team through mid game leaver, causing us to fight 4v5 for mid/late game. This is first guide I have made, and I wanted to share this with those unfortunate Nocturne players that do really well early game, but just can't survive mid/late game. That could be due to lack of Dps or Defense stats. This guide will allow you to be that tough, aggressive Nocturne player you want to be for late game so you can lead the enemy team into darkness and despair.

Runes

I have changed my runes for this guide. This will insure that over powered feeling when your want to be aggressive in team fights.

Below are the added total Bonuses from Runes + Masteries:

-Attack Damage Bonus: 12.3 + .5 every level (max 9 at lvl 18)
-Armor Bonus: 11
-Magic Armor Bonus: 12
-Armor Pen Bonus: 12

I changed this because nocturne gets attack speed bonus passively with his W skill, and to become a good nocturne, you must use the shield to double attack speed in those sticky situations. Timing is everything.

Items

The Hexdrinker has now made it useful to build for mid/late game because you can upgrade it into a weapon for close range combat against mages that you need to take out. Once you get burst down to half your passive on the Maw of Malmortius will give you more power so that you can keep fighting with extra attack power as you get lower in hp, and knowing that your going to live is key, the next burst won't kill you so you can bet your life on the passive to save you after your last hit or you can run from battles that you know you cant win.
