Pros: Easy to use, High damage output, Easy getaway, Able to initiate team fights effectively and beat the living shhh... out of the opposing team with your R, Tanky, Easy farming with your E.

Cons: Low mana at beginning ( but if you play smart you'll be just fine.

Go with whatever you feel, don't listen to what people tell you to do. But i recommend Crit and Arpen runes because Wukong can hit VERY hard. You can use some CDR runes also but getting the Ionian boots is enough for me.

Flash is a must if you want to get away safely when caught up in a gank because your W will not last for long.
Ignite is what i use for kill stealing or just total rape at beginning. 9/10 times at beg. I will always get first blood laning with my one of my clan members.

Another option could be teleport but that would ruin the element of surprise that usually always gives you the higher advantage.

To get away from a sticky situation, just run to a near by bush wait for them to head towards it and press W and run in a opposite direction. ( if you have flash this will be MUCH more effective ) This can also help you get kills by letting them chase you into bush and before they hit the bush you hop out with an E followed by a Q/Autoattack and then an R flashing towards them if they run off.
