I am still working on the build. I have been experimenting with starting items, but so far this seems to give the best starting stats to play both damage and support role. the key of this build is to be agile enough to get from turret to turret as well as the cd and damage to keep the enemy away.

Start off by getting prospector ring,boot of speed,and two health potions. Lux should always go top in my opinion. her damage, crowd control and sheild are perfect for this cqb with lots of people clustered together. If you play lux right and keep your position you should only take minimal damage and take top with out much issue. When I play and assuming we win top I normally have enough health through pots and enough manna through regen to be able to hold the top long enough for my allies to go back or re-spawn. Normally I wont go back until I die for the first time or just have to much money.

Now just finish of the item build order. Lux ult is perfect for stopping turret captures, so I normally sit in the bushes just below Top tower, her ult can easily hit top tower, if they are taking mid just walk a few feet and hit them that way. Also sitting in those bushes gives a great view of anyone sneaking above the buff to take either top or mid.

Lets face it, lux is kinda squishy, and when it comes to fighting certain sword wielding peoples she doesn't always hold up the best 1v1. However there is a trick that I have used numerous times to make that pesky Garen to think twice about spinning at my tower. The trick? just keep running around the tower, exhaust him, snare him, slow him( keep shielding yourself) with persistence, proper mouse clicking and damage from your turret. you can either kill him or at least send him on his way.

If your team is dead or too far away and you are low on health yourself; defending a turret can be a problem. The best thing ive found is to sit in the bushes above top and just spam snare, ball'o'light and ult(all will reach any capture position). At the very least you can buy your team a few more precious seconds of turret ownership.
