While during the end game you will be a force to be reckoned with, the early game depends entirely on your skill with Master Yi. You have to play smart and not put yourself too out in the open but neither do you need to be super defensive. You want to be fed a lot, and get plenty of farm because the build is a bit expensive but it is totally worth it. If you can pull it off.
