You have Heal. No.

You max Courage first. While I get that this is a tank, Garen's strongest point is his early game, and you want to max those offensive skills first to get fed enough to be tanky. You shouldn't rely on Courage to be bulky.

Spirit Visage for no apparent reason - it's not useful in a fight, and you don't have the healing steroids that Mundo does. Your passive is only useful out of combat, and Spirit Visage doesn't help there anyway.

No Merc Treads on a tank.

Randuin's isn't nearly as good now as an armor tanking item. Your armor and MR itself are low, not going above 200, making Warmog's Armor not worth it all.

The guide is hard to read, and has quite a few typos.

This really is good, in the right hands and situation. If you want to be the only living person after a teamfight and have the other team focus you, build this. All I see here is tons of survivability. Could work wonders depending on the other team's play.

i don´t mention that garen is my best char ingame

I find a live item is ample but 5 are simply too much
whether the opponent carrys buy madredsbloodrazer is life simply useless.The sunfirecape and perhaps the Spiritvisage are ok but the rest unnecessary.

I can´t see clear lines in this build.
1. if you go TANKyDPS garen you buy merkurys threats, sunfirecape, INFINITYS EDGE, YOUMUS GHOSTBLADE, and a force of nature

2. if you play TankGaren you must buy : Guardian Angel, merkurys threats, sunfircape, Aegis of Legions,
(so you have 250 armor and magicrist), force of nature, and a thornmail so you tnak very good

3. You play DPS Garen
so you buy: Brutaliser, merkurys threats, phantom Dancer, Infinitys Edge, a sunfirecape,and atmas impaler, then you build bruta in youmus Ghostblade

Great job man +1 if people are playing a tank. You are not supposed to get kills you are a tank, you tank the damage and make sure your team doesnt die as best you can. With Garen's Spin and silence you should have no problem doing that :) good job

First, fix the typos, you have a ton. Second, who wants to sit around for 60 seconds when you can port back and be in battle in less time. Finally, being a tank isn't only about soaking damage, you need to make the enemy want to attack you. If you don't put out any dps (that's what makes garen get aggro) then a good team is going to ignore you. I won't downvote since I haven't tried this build but these are thoughts to ponder.

Change Spirit Visage and Aegis and put banshee and atmas... will be much better.
