Hey I am Darky!
I'm a 20 years old Portuguese high elo player as I consistently stay in high master/grandmaster elo, peaking challenger 700 LP. I've played competitive and even thought i took a break, I still keep the objective of playing in "LEC" someday.
I started playing League of Legends in season 1, at that time I used to play a lot of Twisted Treeline with my friends to have some fun. That changed in season 4 as I started playing ranked games and got placed in silver playing mostly Leblanc, Nasus and Ryze top.
In season 5 I started learning Riven and she was a fun and successful pick for me as I reached gold in that season, platinum in season 6, and when I was close to reach diamond I got banned due to toxicity.
I took a long break and came back in season 8, reaching diamond on my EX E-Girlfriend account while my main account was gold.
I continued to climb and right now I'm Challenger in EUW.
I enjoy Gwen a lot due to her unique playstyle. Playing her its as fun as playing Riven for me and I'm rank 42 EUW on Gwen.

Thousand Cuts is Gwen's passive which gives her autoattacks on hit damage based on enemy champion max health, she will also heal for 70% of the damage dealt.

Snip Snip! is Gwen's first ability in which her auto attacks grants 1 stack of Snippy for 6 seconds,stacking up to 4 times. Using active of Snip Snip! makes Gwen snip for 2-6 times (Based on Snippy Stacks) dealing more damage with each aditional stack. Enemies in the middle get true damaged. Tip: This can be used with Skip 'n Slash to reposition Snip Snip!

Hallowed Mist Is Gwen's second ability in which she summons a mist for 5 second that gives her armor and magic resist (20 at level 1) that can be recast to reposition the mist. Gwen gets untargatable inside the mist if people are outside the mist. Tip: You can out trade champions like Darius because you can W against his E and Q and take no damage.

Skip 'n Slash Is Gwen's third ability which consists in a small dash that grants her on hit damage and attack speed for 4 seconds, Gwen's first auto attack will refund 50% cooldown of the duration. Tip: Skip 'n Slash Is an auto attack reset, you can auto attack and press Skip 'n Slash and get another auto fast.

Needlework Is Gwen's Ultimate in which she can throw needles up to 3 times, first cast she throws 1 needle, second cast she throws 3 needles, and third cast she throws 5 needles, each needle applies Thousand Cuts and slows enemies. Gwen needs to auto attack or Snip Snip! after each cast to be able to recast the ability. Tip: You can chase someone, use Needlework to slow them, auto attack minion and cast again Needlework and you should be able to kill them because of the damage and the amount of slow it gives.

Doran's Blade Is the best starting item for Gwen when you are in matchups that you wanna all-in or cheat recall level 3 because it gives you more damage than Doran's Ring even tho her abilities scale with ability power, because her e gives her attack speed and on-hit damage.Also Doran's Blade gives Gwen more sustain in lane.

Corrupting Potion Is the best item for matchups that you need sustain or want to chase them down to death, like Gnar Jayce Kayle, you only take this if you have the Time Warp Tonic rune.

Doran's Shield Is the best item for tough ranged matchups that you can't kill the laner early levels like Quinn and Teemo. Also take Second Wind on runes.

Cloth Armor Is the item that I've been abusing the most in toplane, you take this basicly everytime their jungler and toplaner are ad champions,because you get 60+armor level 1 and still have your massive damage. And try to get Seeker's Armguard on first back so you get even stronger.

Tear of the Goddess Should be bought on first back if you wanna go for thet muramana build (Which I'm spamming right now because it gives tons of damage) because you wanna start stack it as soon as possible.

Seeker's Armguard Should ALWAYS be bought if you're playing against an ad champion on top,it makes you super strong in the sidelane if you get this. Also synergies well with Leeching Leer because of the survivability it gives.

Leeching Leer Is the main source of survivability for Gwen because of the Health and Omnivamp it gives, this lets you trade alot more since you can heal back on minions.

Riftmaker Is the most important mythic item for Gwen because it provides survivability,sustain,damage, and shredds tanks. I go with this item everygame unless I'm smurfing,if I'm smurfing and they have no tanks i go for Night Harvester for one shot potential.

Night Harvester Is good when they have no tanks in their team,I personally only go for it when I'm smurfing, but there's people that like to go for this item so i think its preference.

Nashor's Tooth Is the biggest powerspike for Gwen in splitpushing because it gives alot of damage in duels and gives you more attack speed for towers. You should buy this 2nd item if you're not teamfighting alot or if you dont need survivability.

Muramana Is the item i've been going right now (20/04) because it deals tons of damage and your Snip Snip! and your Needlework procs the muramana passive,it deals 100+dps than lichbane on a target with 100 armor/100 magic resist.

Zhonya's Hourglass Is the most important item for Gwen for survivability in teamfights, i run it everygame as second or third item,depending if i need the survivability sooner or later in the game.

Randuin's Omen Should be brought against heavy ad teams because it will make you unkillable. If you need anti-heal, go for Thornmail.

Thornmail Should be brought as an antiheal item instead of Morellonomicon because Gwen as already enough damage so if you buy Thornmail it will provide you more survivability in teamfights while giving grivenous wounds to your enemies.

Demonic Embrace Is bought when you need more sustain and damage in teamfights, it gives you 10 armor and 10 magic resistance in combat + 2.5 armor and magic resist per enemy in the teamfight. Thornmail and Randuin's Omen are more important if you're facing heavy ad teams.

Lich Bane Is bought when you need burst in your kit, normally against squichy targets, or when you're far ahead and you want to snowball the game.

Rabadon's Deathcap Is bought as 4th-5th item if you want to hard snowball. Lich Bane takes priority first in most of the games because of the burst.

Spirit VisageIs good when you need a frontliner vs hybrid or heavy ap teams. If you have frontliners just go for Banshee's Veil

Banshee's Veil Is good when you need survivability against ap champions and you dont need a frontline at all. If you need frontline just go for Spirit Visage
