Alright, this has been bothering me. I don't usually use guides however i used this one since i was getting rusty at Cho'Gath. But that's besides the point, I was wondering if since you don't go "Full Tank" cho'gath . . . do you get flamed and reported for trolling for your build? also what do you build when behind, same? or what?

Hello my friend,

We always using our build no matter WHAT happens, even if we are 0-5, we will still use our build. What you need to do is to focus on FARM nothing more, everything else will come after that! Even while you are behind, you will still have the damage to do enough damage to win any team fight. What you need to do is to play with a good position and destroy the right targets (Even tanks)!
So as far for the "people" and what they "saying" people will start flamming you even if you are going full TANK and be "1-1" TOP while your enemy TOP laner destroying them. So to care about "others" wont do any good at all.
Also how can they report you while you have the MOST DAMAGE from both teams and the only reason you will LOST is cause of their mistakes and feed? :D

Do you think Glacial Augment would be a good keystone on Cho Gath?

You already have a slow with your E, you dont need anything more than that! Also you will sacrifice a lot of damage rune to go for this Runes Tree!

Does nipbus cloak works only for escaping?
I think mana band is better

I doubt it, you already have too much mana with dorans and luden and by taking nimbus away you throw away your only option of movility

Nimbus isn't the only mobility option though - you still have Protobelt, which can be cast at any time, has a shorter cooldown, and can be used to engage or disengage without delay whereas nimbus cloak activates 1.5 seconds after using your ultimate, by which point your target is already dead (either from the ult itself or ignite) so it's only useful if you want to get out from under tower as soon as possible after killing your lane opponent or to chase down the rest of the enemy team if they try to flee.

Furthermore, Nimbus cloak grants less than 100 movespeed during the 2.5 seconds where it's active, as not only does it decay partway through, movement speed is softcapped if it exceeds 415 (If Cho has upgraded boots and no cloud drakes, for example, Nimbus cloak gives 85 move speed before decay as opposed to 100) resulting in approximately 1.7 additional Teemos being covered if Cho is moving the entire time, which he likely won't be. (Comparatively, protobelt provides 3 Teemos plus 8 damaging bolts, and flash is 4.25 Teemos)

Is 1.7 Teemos really more valuable than 250 mana and 1% missing mana regen (1/4 of the mana regen provided by a single ocean drake)? It's a matter of opinion; with doran's rings, luden's echo and an elixir of blueness, you shouldn't run out of mana if you're managing it efficiently, but realistically you're more likely to die because you're out of mana and can't defend yourself than because you were too slow and only a yordle away from safety.

Hey Balori, do you still use Ravenous Hunter even with the new Ultimate Hunter out?

I've been experimenting with it regardless of your current Mobafire recommendation because Ravenous Hunter gives 1/3 for all of Cho's abilities except his ultimate anyways.

Ravenous Hunter is the one and the only option. To have 15% Spell vamp is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than just have 9 less second CD at your ultimate.
The 1/3 of the spell vamp with your AOE abilities means 5% of your damage, your Q will be doing 1000+dmg late game to MULTIPLE targets, this means you will apply this 5% to every creep, champion, jungle camp you will hit your skill.
Also you gain HEALTH BACK even with your hits from your E that is "single target" this means 15% and not just 5%. And the most important thing, is your ULTIMATE, by doing PURE DAMAGE, it means you will get PURE HP Back as well, this means if you doing 1000 true damage you will get 150 HP back from just using it, if you last hit the target you will get extra HP from the STACK plus your PASSIVE, this means around 500 HP just from that.
Imagine now, being in a team fight and last hit a target that will give you so much HP back and then move to your next target with Nimbus cloak :)

Which one is better? Tank Or AP

[-]
BaLoRi (11) | July 19, 2018 3:54am
Both AP or TANK Cho are just as weak. Our build is called Full Magic Penetration for a simple reason. Cause we are the STRONGEST in LATE GAME, while any other build fall apart hard vs the new meta assassins!

Do you think it is better to go into precision tree secondary? Presence of mind seems to be great for mana sustain and having your ultimate off cooldown...

Would you suggest this build for someone who is new to league? I really wanna be a Cho main because he seems and feels so OP. I do enjoy playing him but only in 5v5 draft. any extra tips, hints, etc you would give to someone new to Cho? or league in general?

Hello my friend, Im always saying in my guide what is IMPORTANT to do while playing our champion and the GAME itself!
Cho'Gath is an easy to play champion that the only thing you need is PRACTICE! Follow our build, remember or motto and keep going, nothing will survive vs you!

how do you feel about the incoming doran's ring changes?

Aurametalsaurus | May 2, 2018 10:27am
I can't speak on BaLoRi's behalf, but the change from base regen to flat regen means that Cho has higher mana regen up until level 9, at which point the 2 rings, the dark seal and some of the Luden's Echo components prevent you from going oom unless you've been using your abilities carelessly.

Additionally, whilst the ring no longer returns mana on minion kill, Cho can still utilise his passive to sustain his mana (and health), and the on-hit damage (which stacks, as the passive is no longer unique) helps to secure minions in order for you to get the mana, health, and experience that you need to be able to stay in lane safely.

tl:dr it's mostly good

Also, now that ludens gives a lot of early mana, could it be a good idea to invest in the lost chapter instead of a second doran's ring? (especially considering that the ring is sold after you get the 2nd item unless you delay boots and don't buy control wards)

We still following the same item start, we will start building Echo after buying our revolver, so we need the stats early :)

IN 8.4 do we now build morellonomicon instead of liandrys torment due to magic penetration being on morellonomicon now?

BaLoRi's only observed full build this patch had morellos built last in place of rabbadons or warmogs with the same build as before besides aether wisp being replaced with lost chapter, though with a lot of new items being added and old items returning along with buffs and changes to existing items (including the massive buff to deathcap), BaLoRi's going to need a lot of time to experiment with varied build orders in order to find the STRONGEST BUILD.

0_0
sorry

On a more serious note, whilst Liandrys has lost its magic penetration, it's stronger than it's ever been now that you get a 10% damage amplifier. (preliminary calculations suggest that this amplifier results in higher total damage than the magic penetration, and not many people seem to build much magic resistance anyway)
Still, BaLoRi has the final say when it comes to their build; I'm just here to alleviate concerns/make everything worse whilst he's off eating vaynes. (remember to keep hydrated when doing that, though - Vaynes have a very high salt content and insufficient fluid intake could result in dehydration)

tl;dr we still build liandrys then build morello last probably except the build could be subject to changes in the future.
