Amumu

Garen-Amumu form an ideal pair. Basically any champion with a stun, a root or a bind will synergise with Garen really well. In amumu's case, his Q is a stun, and his R is an AOE stun. So it just calls for Garen to press Q and charge in and spin on everyone and ult the one target with low health, then proceed to beat the sh*t out of everyone together with amumu pressing W and constantly spamming E, and if amumu lands another Q, Garen goes in with another Q and spin. Perfect spin to win strategy. Basically any champ like amumu eg. nautilus, leona, thresh, morgana, lux, darius (hook), any hard CC champ will synergise super well with Garen. They can layer their CC with Garen's 1.5s silence, so the enemies really can't do anything or use any abilities for a long time, and just straight up this wins Garen the game
