This guide largely assumes that you know how to play Mordekaiser already and is mostly about the items. I will give you some tips here to help you along but I won't tell you everything you need to do. Experimentation is the key, everyone has there own playstyle and just mirroring someone else will only get you so far. Also take these items with a grain of salt, if you are laning against a Gangplank for instance you would want to get a Thornmail instead of a Force of Nature. Or maybe you find that you win fights and escape near death as you try to blue pill out you get ganked and die. Buy some sight ward and Health Potion then in between items. It is important to know your surroundings.


Don't spam your moves at early levels unless being pushed or you will do more damage to yourself than your enemy does to you. Mordekaiser's moves require health to use.

Get blue buff. This guide is mostly about the Hextech Gunblade and the spell vamp that it gives you. Being able to use your moves as often as possible is key to survival.

Find your being CC'd alot? replace Force of Nature with Banshee's Veil.

Use the active on the Hextech Gunblade, it does 300 magic damage and a 50% slow for 3 seconds. This is very helpful against fleeing enemies.

Farm. Farm. Farm! Mordekaiser is an amazing farmer, if your team doesn't need your help immediately go farm! the gold will add up to alot by late game.

Lastely and most importantly have fun, if your not doing that then whats the point.
