Nasus
A lot of people will argue that Nasus is easy to play against as a Teemo, that is false. Any Nasus that takes ghost will 100% destroy Teemo in lane. Wither is too strong of an ability. *This is the champion I 100% of the time ban when playing top.
Champion Build Guide
So anyhow, I am a Teemo main and with that said, this build is great for low elo(iron4-plat1), but less reliable in high elo (diamond 4+). This is because people actually know how to ward, gank, control map and roam while Teemo does not excel in those fields.
Winning as Teemo doesn't mean you have to kill the enemy in lane, simply pushing them out of lane is a win. So what does that mean, it means that as long as the enemy is not in lane farming and getting experience then you're getting ahead. After several months of playing Teemo I noticed that Teemo is only useful when he is ahead or when it is late game. After several years, I have an amazing understanding of how he works and what really counters him. That being said lets dive in.
So as a Teemo player, YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU WILL BE CAMPED!
The main reason why Teemo is not picked the higher you climb is because people start to know how to jungle. Junglers will know what they're doing.
People will argue, "but no, junglers should camp bot" that is false.
Most ganks happen top and mid now. Simply because no matter how badly bot lane feeds, if the jungler has gotten their mid and top laners fed, then they(top/mid) can roam or keep pushing (top laners) getting more objectives and putting pressure on the map.
And as a Teemo player you have to keen in on that.
Taking Ravenous hunter provide you great sustain, a little less tanky early but a lot stronger late game than the resolve tree secondary build. Reason being you, if the enemy does not cc you for 5 secs, you will out heal all damage and easily 1v3. And because most of your items are AD, you will receive the bonuses of adaptive force adding to AD rather than AP, as you are not required to build much ap because all the bonuses from the on hit effects are mostly ap including the passive from Teemo's E.
Well why is this important? Because no matter what the enemy builds, you are shredding through it. If the enemy builds armor, they will die to your magic on-hits, if they build magic resist they will die to your ad auto attacks. while mages and assassins can pose a threat to Teemo, this build will usually prove to be tanky for them to one shot, and in turn you can melt them down pretty easily while healing it all back.
One of Teemo's main objectives is to place mushrooms throughout the map, be sure to place them in choke points around the map. River entrances, Baron entrance and brushes, and bacially any area that has a lot of traffic. Now the question arising is probably, "but you don't have ap, how are you going to do damage?" That is, you don't have to rely so much on the damage from the mushrooms, but the utility provided by them. Free vision, slows, and just annoyances that tilt the enemy team. This includes you yourself and utilizing your passive stealth, and gunning their carries down with 2.5 attack speed. So you can say that although you will not have 800 ap and your mushroom being nukes, if you engage in teamfights, you will 90% of the time provide more damage output than your carries.
Again I thank you guys for reading and stopping by.
