Yeah. I know... I get into the top 10 builds made in the past 30 days, and then I get downvoted out. I don't mind; I just figure that there's someone out there who despises hybrid builds and thinks AP is the only way to play kennen.

Though Jebus McAzn summarized the main reasons why energy regen quints aren't advised, there are 2 other points specific to kennen that makes the energy regen quints almost entirely redundant. The first is Mark of the Storm with its 25 energy return every time you successfully stun, and the other is Lightning Rush returning 40 energy if you pass through an enemy during its duration. Very rarely should you run out of energy.

Energy regen quints are impractical for a few reasons, one being that you're not really expected to blow a couple thousand IP on them. The main one though, is that you can generally keep your energy at maximum or close to maximum from harassing only with your Q - you should not be blowing out your full combo all the time. Energy really isn't a problem for Kennen at all.

What do you think about the 1,5 energy regen per 5 quint? Is it better than the ability power ones?

These days everyone knows it when a kennen run into the crowd they would focus u down in 1 sec unless they're super noob or you got some super tank.
I mainly solo q so this build fit my style, i can run in stun everyone when its safe or i can just stand back dps like wonder and still stun too...so much fun <3

Haven't gotten to try this yet, but it has my vote.
It's definitely an awesome solid build.
I like the hybrid combo, I also really like the reduced cooldowns.
I figure, sure the AP is lower than in an AP only build, BUT you get to attack faster due to the cooldowns, so really it evens out.

Actually, I just tested this and auto attack is possible while kennen's ultimate is in use. Also, this is a different play style than AP and should be treated as such. Though you may think that AP is more viable and some people may agree, I play this way and I am sharing this unique play style with the mobafire community.

It's not good. Because u cant atack when u used ur ulti . Kennen must be Ap not hybrid
