AP off tank Nunu is a serious force. Not only will u be able to take some hits but from the start u will be freezing holes in champs like a pro. Most items will give u not only AP but HP and magic resist. Not to mention u slow and AOE magic resist debuff. With the nice amount of AP your ult will turn a team fight into total domination.

Masteries

This is kinda self explanatory... Offence tree for the magic pen and utility tree so u can put the hurts on all day long.

Runes

Magic pen reds = pain
AP yellows = ultra pain from the start
Cooldown Reduction blues = Ultra pain over and over and over
Movement speed Quints = U CANT RUN!!!!

Add those all up and BAM!!! U makes dead champs.
