This is one of my first builds and teemo has to be one of my favourite champions so I've decided it'd be fitting to make it on him. Teemo can be played a few ways, but in this build I will demonstrate, in my opinion, how to best play him as an ap solo top.

Ap teemo's strongest asset is his shrooms. Everyone knows that much. Placing your shrooms often and everywhere is key to a well played game. They serve as wards as much as damage sources. Spread your shrooms throughout the map in any location (make sure they're not in enemy minion walking paths) where you expect enemy champions to stumble across.

Even if an enemy champion buys oracles, you can place your shrooms in bushes where the oracled champion will still not see them until it's too late.

Close off escape roots when ganking an over extended champion.

Ward possible paths that an enemy ganker might take to snag you unawares when you may be over extending.

Use them as an early warning system when baroning by planting some on common paths leading to baron.

As incredibly easy and quick as it is to farm by planting a shroom on some minions, try not to get too carried away with it. Sure it's effective, but you only have a limited number potential shrooms to place, and if you use too many on minions your jungle won't look all pretty and green doted.
