Masteries & Summoner Spells

10/0/20 Its the basic Mage build.

Ive taken Ghost and Ignite. Annie plays with fire so Ignite just fits with her. Ghost is for chasing and escaping.


3/5 Disintegrate at LvL6. Than I work on Incinerate and Molten Shield. I find that Molten Shield is one of her better skills.

Molten Shield adds to her passive. So if you are sitting with needing one more charge so you can Tibbers-stun, this is gonna be a great way to get that extra charge. Also, this is great when comboed with Thornmail. Thats right I said Thornmail. Melee champs will hate engaging you while Molten Shield is up. They take MS and TM dmg at the same time.

I find that you need to LvL Incinerate and Molten Shield according to their team.

The thing to remember about Annie's skills, is you need to set your charges so that you get her stun on Tibbers. Having a Tibbers-Stun can change the tide of a fight.


Marks Mpen again as with more my mage builds.

Seals I like Flat AP. I know that AP per LvL is better for late game, but I like early game.

Glyphs Again Flat AP.

Quintessences Ive got a mix of Flat AP and Mpen. I find that these will help in the Early Game.


Amplifying Tome= 20AP
Kage's Lucky Pick= 25 Ap and 5 GPS
Amplifying Tome =20AP
Mejai's Soulstealer= +20 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: Your champion gains 8 ability power per stack, receiving 2 stacks for a kill or 1 stack for an assist. This effect can stack 20 times; you lose a third of your stacks if you die. At 20 stacks, your champion's cooldowns are reduced by 15%.
Fiendish Codex= +30 Ability Power +7 Mana Regeneration per 5 UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 10%.
DFG= +60 Ability Power +10 Mana Regen per 5 Sec UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 15%. UNIQUE Active: Deals magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 Ability Power) with a miminum of 200 damage. 1 minute cooldown.
Fiendish Codex= +30 Ability Power +7 Mana Regeneration per 5 UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 10%.
Nashor's Tooth= +50% Attack Speed +55 Ability Power +10 Mana Regeneration per 5 UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 25%
Sheen= +250 Mana +25 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: When an ability is used, your base damage is increased by 100% for your next attack. This effect has a 2 second cooldown
Blasting Wand= 40AP
Lich Bane= +350 Mana +80 Ability Power +30 Magic Resist +7% Movement Speed UNIQUE Passive: 100% chance when an ability is used that your next physical attack deals an additional 100% of your Ability Power in damage. This effect has a 2 second cooldown
Needlessly Large Rod= 80AP
Zhonya's Ring= +120 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: Increases Ability Power by 25% UNIQUE Active: Places your champion into Stasis for 2 seconds, rendering you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 sec cooldown

Items that can be swapped

There are things that can be swapped, but they are more situational. Like I said earlier, Thornmail is great.

Thornmail= +100 Armor UNIQUE Passive: On being hit by standard attacks, returns 30% of damage taken as magic damage.

This is a great item if you are getting nuked by Olaf, Yi, or Tryndamere.

AA if you are having mana issues, or RoA if you are a fan of it. BV is great if there are heavy nukes aimed at you. These are just some examples of other items.

Game Play

Early Game
In this game you should be starting with Amplifying Tome. Once you can get Kage's get it. Let it sit and get you gold. Make a Mejai's and work on DFG or Nashor's Tooth. Lots of CDR in this build. More Tibbers uptime is good. You should be able to dish out great dmg and harassing as well.

Mid Game
If you are doing well, stack wise lol, you should be finished with DFG or Nashor's. I like Nashor's because if its AS. That small AS boost means you dont have to chase as long after nuking. You should be doing well with your lane partner, so keep on nuking. Dont forget to time charges with Tibbers. Tibbers-Stun will be getting those kill.

Late Game
This is where you need to be careful. If they dont /surrender they will be gunning for you. I know that things can be getting a lil expensive with ZR, but it will be helpful. Not to mention the LB procs will be great in the nuking process.

1v1 & Jungling

1v1 is one place that Annie can be dangerous. The amount of raw power she can dish out is insane. Again, timing a Tibbers-Stun is key to Annie making it out alive. She can Tibber-Stun, DFG, LB proc attack, Disintegrate, Incinerate, Ignite, get the kill.

Jungling is a cake walk for Annie. Not something she should try at the beginning though lol. She can steal buffs and than get the kill. Her nuking is great, and she is one of the best nukes in game.

Ganking & Team Pushes

Ganking= Tibber-Stun, DFG, LB proc attack, Disintegrate, Incinerate, Ignite, get the kill.

Team pushes means you stay behind, and Tibbers on the Stun in group fights. Dont die. your team will need the nuke power.

Friends & Enemies

Stunners and Taunters are great to lane with. The occassional nuker might be nice too. That would mean that you wouldnt have to put everything on CD. Viegar is a great nuke partner. So is Ryze.

Everyone has issues with Annie. If you start doing well early game, they will be trying to control you first. Stay close to the team, and dont wander off alone. Tibbers cant always save you
