To be a person who will choose to try and succeed with this Nocturne build, you will have to the type of person who takes risks. The ability to 1v2 or even 1v3 is possible with this build. Tower diving 1v2 is a common occurrence my opponents have done to them, with me coming out nearly unscathed and with an extra 200 or so gold.
If done right, this build can carry the team incredibly easily, and even possibly be a pseudo offtank, if you don't want to lose your squishy Ashe in any teamfights.
This is my first build I have submitted to MobaFire, although I have taught many people to play with this build personally, all of whom have tried it with various degrees of success, at various summoner levels.

There are two options for nocturne, as there are for most champions, often the question is asked, which is greater, Lane? or Jungle? personally I prefer to jungle, although that is only possible as of my runes and many various attempts and different jungle routes. Although Lane nocturne can also be very powerful if played correctly.

Intro to jungle:
For jungle I choose to take armour pen reds and quints, along with attack speed blues and yellows. This helps for your passive to gain the 7 attack bonus AoE and lifeSteal effect while jungling.

Intro to Lane:
For lane nocturne change smite summoner spell to either ignite or exhuast (your preference), also you will be using the same runes and same item path, the extra ward with wriggles lantern will allow you to hold your lane alot better by reducing your chance of being ganked, and will also allow you to kill dragon everytime its up, past lvl 7
