Ok guys! First time making a build here so please be gentle.
I played some Irelia lately and figured that this build fits my play style the most.
I don't play ranked yet so i don't know if this works in ranked.

I think you are like ''why so much armor pen!?!?'' Well that is because it works really well with her Q and R.
I used my ult on gangplank and his hp dropped below 30% after W and R, finishing him of with Q and E makes Irelia the champ she is today.

I get some mana regen for early game. Minion farming with Q if you get pushed a lot, leaves you low on mana.

Magic resistance speaks for itself.

Just a normal offensive build with some defensive features.
I didn't take 1 on flash because 15 seconds can be much, but if played right, you don't need flash.

I start with regrowth pendant for the hp regen if i get poked a lot. Turning that into philosopher stone gives me mana and hp regen + gold per 5. Getting boots to move faster is what everybody does.

Here you decide what boots you take. Go tabi for more ad resistance and mercury for ap resistance.

From here on i take a split in my decision. If i can stay in my lane for another 5 min, i take heart of gold for the gold per 5. Otherwise i rush wit's end. This gives me more attack speed and that is needed on Irelia.

Trinity force is just THE item for Irelia, no further questions asked.

Atmog is for late game if its needed. It gives you more survivability in team fights and it will boost your AD alot.

And at last, to change the philosopher stone to a normal item. this gives your team just the extra boost to chase dying champions, surviving strong counters or getting to your tower to save it in time.

Start with the farming engine. Q is just the skill to last hit minions if you are getting pushed or if your jungler is ganking, you can easily be around your opponent if needed.

You can either choose to pick W or E. It doesn't mind which skill you'll pick. I take W for the healing and true damage.

I take 1 point in E for the slow/stun. Not more then 1 because your dmg won't go through E.

This build is created for maxing W at first. it gives you attack speed to deal as much true dmg as possible. So maxing W is important.

So this is how i play Irelia. Tell me what i should change or what is good about this build.

The key of solo lane top is communication with your jungler. Don't accept ganks if you're not sure you can catch him/her. Don't overextend only if needed or secured with wards.
