🌪️JANNA DEL REY GUIDE TO SPACEGLIDE🌪️

By TIJUA
Introduccion
I’m a Janna player from the LAS region, sitting at over 500,000 mastery points with the champion, and I’ve reached Diamond 3 mainly playing her.

I started out as a Lux main a few seasons ago, but at some point I realized her archetype didn’t really match my style. I liked the idea of being impactful through utility and awareness rather than just damage or flashy plays. That’s when I started watching players like Rekkles use Janna — the way he played her caught my attention, and I decided to give her a shot.

From the first few games, I could tell she clicked with me. Janna feels like a champion that rewards patience, positioning, and game sense more than anything else. She can completely shift the pace of a fight with one well-timed ability, and that kind of control is what I enjoy most.

Since then, I’ve tried her in every role — MID, TOP, and of course SUPPORT — experimenting with different builds, playstyles, and matchups. I like testing her limits, finding off-meta ways to make her work, and adapting to different team comps and metas.

For me, Janna isn’t just a comfort pick — she represents the kind of playstyle I’ve grown into over the years: calm, calculated, and focused on creating impact through decision-making and awareness rather than aggression. Even after hundreds of games, I still find new things to improve on, and that’s what keeps me playing her.
Ability Breakdown

Tailwind (P):Janna's allies gain Move Speed moving towards her. Janna deals a portion of bonus Move Speed as bonus magic damage on hit and with Zephyr.

Howling Gale (Q):By creating a localized change in pressure and temperature, Janna is able to create a small storm that grows in size with time. She can activate the spell again to release the storm. On release this storm will fly towards the direction it was cast in, dealing damage and knocking away any enemies in its path.

Zephyr (W): Janna summons an air elemental that passively increases her Move Speed and enables her to pass through units. She may also activate this ability to deal damage and slow an enemy's Move Speed.

Eye Of The Storm (E): Janna conjures a defensive gale that shields an ally champion or turret from incoming damage and increases their Attack Damage. All crowd control effects Janna applies reduce the cooldown of her shield; this also applies to .

Monsoon (R): Janna surrounds herself in a magical storm, throwing enemies back. After the storm has settled, soothing winds heal nearby allies while the ability is active.
My playstyle
I used to play Janna focused on healing and shields, but I don't really find it to be a very fun build. With the mobility build, you get greater presence on the map, which I consider one of the champion's greatest strengths, as well as a significant damage output. The runes of my playstyle are this ones : You can go either or and always or and always , then you chose if you want or . The secundarie runes are and

What I usually do with the champion is have a calm early , looking to take advantage of opponents bad plays. From level 5 onward, I feel Janna should leave the lane and become a support for the entire team. This build also allows for an aggressive playstyle, using movement speed to force the enemy to engage or waste important abilities. This also frustrates enemies, sometimes causing them to waste summoners or high-cooldown abilities, which your team can take advantage of.
With this build or playstyle you want to buy Dark Seal because it gives you good base stats and you can gain stacks if you play safe, then you will buy Imperial Mandate this item works better when you dont have a lot of AP in the team, because it gives your teams some AP when you slow someone.

.pros:high presence on the map
ability to force enemies to make a bad move

.Cons:Lack of engagement
Need for a front line
Baiting can backfire, causing a loss of an objective
Recomendated Players
If you’re looking to learn how to use the champion or explore a different playstyle than your own, here are a few players I’d recommend checking out:

Safe playstyle: Rekkles — He focuses on clean positioning, vision control, and consistency. His games are a great way to understand how to play around your team while staying safe and effective.

Aggressive playstyle: Ap0calypse and Klunckadell — Both of them showcase a much more proactive and pressure-oriented approach. They take risks, punish enemy missteps, and show how Janna can be used to dominate lane and control tempo through aggression.

Each of these players offers a different perspective on how Janna can be played — from the calm, controlled enchanter to the assertive, playmaking version that looks for every opening. Watching them is a good way to adapt and find the style that fits you best.
