Technically the matchup should be okay or even Belveth favored but Aatrox is kinda broken right now, so it's rather hard
Akshan
You can easily access Akshan, therefore he is an easy target for you
Akali
Akali is manageable once you get your hands on some tanky stuff and magicresist, also your early game is way better than hers and you outscale her
Dr. Mundo
Especially with the tank build Mundo is a problem because his cleaver deals %hp damage and you basically stack hp so it hurts and also Mundo is really good right now, except from that, the matchup is fine
Darius
Darius is a skillmatchup, that which is slightly darius favored and that gets better once you know, what you can do and what you cant
Camille
Camille is rather hard because she can both match your mobility, aswell as limit it with her ult. Also her true damage ignores your damage reduction, which is rather hard to deal with
Fiora
I hate the champ so I ban it, skillmatchup, til she hits 2 items
Gangplank
Skillmatchup, GP true damage and q poke are annoying but you can easily dodge or destroy his barrels
Gragas
Not much of a threat to you, but also you're not much of a threat to him
Gnar
Gnar is kinda outscaling you but the matchup is fine early on
Garen
Garen Silence is really hard for you to deal with and the execute ult also hurts alot, since you cant reduce the damage with e
Gwen
If you get to dodge her q and r (which sounds easier than it is) the matchup is fine to play
Illaoi
Hardly ever see that champ but as far as i remember, you can dodge her e with your q and win that way or if she hits it, you can easily get out of her range with q, before she can seriously hit the clone
Irelia
Irelia is pretty even to play against, she will hardspike on 6 and Botrk, if you respect that, you should be able to beat her
Jax
Jax e counters your entire champ and even as a duellist he excels, try to intercept his q with your w and dash away if he uses e
Jayce
Thought Jayce has Range, he is rather easy to deal with, also you can almost nullify his burst with your e
K'Sante
Whoever gets ahead wins lane, your early trading should be better than his tho and your level 3 is definitely stronger than his so try to use that to your advantage
Kled
Kled kind of runs you down and even with q its hard to get away if he hit his e+q on you, try to avoid unnecessary fighting and respect him
Malphite
Nothing happens, really
Mordekaiser
If you get your hand on some magicresist it's even, else he will run you down
Nasus
Nasus w is annoying and you will have to respect his ult but you got the tools to avoid and delay him and you can bully him alot during laningphase
Olaf
Olaf is really hard to play against, because once he hits a single q, you are usually done for and his e also ignores your damage reduction, take special care once he gets his ult
Ornn
Might even be slightly Belveth favored but nothing really happens
Pantheon
You can block Pantheon burst with your e and you are agile enough to get around his e and dodge at least part of his qs, matchup is even or slightly Belveth favored
Poppy
Poppy w makes it really hard for you, because your entire champ bases on dashing, also Poppy early is crazy strong. If you make it through the lane, it should be somewhat better. Keep your distance from walls and try to trade only if she wasted her abilities before.
Quinn
Quinn is rather easy to deal with, even if she uses her dash on you, you can usually catch up with her and burst her quite fast
Renekton
You have to respect Renekton in lane and you will use your e mainly for blocking his w damage, but you outscale him.
Riven
Riven is fine to play, since she is also rather burst focused, you can block her main burst with your e and also match her mobility with your qs. Try to hit her in her q 3 with your w and you will get a good chunk of damage on her.
Sett
You can kind of kite him, respect his true damage w zone and you should be fine
Shen
Shen is a hard matchup, because he carries a lot of natural tankiness but also damage and his w counters your entire champion. Try to take trades if he used his e and w, else you will lose hp really fast.
Singed
Singed w as a ground will be annoying for you, since you cant dash that way, but except from that, you can avoid his q quite decently and also trade him without too much of a risk. Remember: Never chase Singed
Sion
Sion is scaling good and you have to respect that but... He can't do anything to you throughout the entire laning phase, so you can get yourself quite a lead at hand
Swain
Swain is harder to play against, than one might assume. He can usually keep enough distance to poke you, without you being able to actually outtrade him. Only trade him if he is overstepping, else wait for the jungler to help you out or keep your distance.
Teemo
Teemo blind only blocks your e (and autoattacks), but not your q (for whatever reason), so you can all in him and use q's, until his blind expires and you follow up with e. That way you should be able to beat him
Trundle
Trundle is really strong in lane and hardly fightable at any time. Respect him and try to rather poke him, than to all in
Tryndamere
Tryndamere is a coinflip champ. Sometime you win early game against him, sometimes you lose because of crits. If you want to play it safe, build your titanic and heartsteel, aswell as steelcaps and Randuins and you will beat him without a doubt
Warwick
If you manage to catch Warwick early, you can snowball on that and it will be really hard for him to come back on that, on the other hand if he catches you, it will be the other way around. overall, you lack damage to finish him off, so try to get him to trade you under your tower and fight him if his e (and probably barrier) are on cooldown
Yone
You win small trades against yone and you can force fights once he is low enough but respect his lethal tempo, you do not win if its fully stacked, so always keep a q to escape, just in case
Yorick
I dont know about this dude, but you can kill the ghouls quick so I'd assume okay or even good to play
Viego
Both aim for resets and got the tools to burst at least 1 Target
Sejuani
Crazy synergy because of Seju's Permafrost
Seraphine
Shield, Heal, Hard CC, all of those are pretty good for you
Senna
Not especially good, nor especially bad, its fine
Ashe
If Ashe hits an enemy, you can easily get all 4 q stacks off and kill it almost certainly
Morgana
Blackshield lets you dash in, without any second thoughts about being CC'ed
Rakan
You can offer Rakan good opportunities to engage or follow up yours and you can follow his engages aswell
Yuumi
Hate to say it, works really well
Zilean
Movespeed and Revive, yes please
Vex
Good to follow up, wants resets too
Leona
You can use any hard CC you get
Lulu
She gives you anything you need, movespeed, atkspd, onhit dmg, shield and even knockup. just perfect tbh
Nami
With Nami e you can almost oneshot squishy targets and her ult is also a good way for you to engage
Nautilus
You can use any hard CC you get
Renata Glasc
Renata revive can be a fightchanger if you get a reset that way
Rell
You can use any hard CC you get

Hi there,
I'm Jansky, my peak this season (12) has been 700LP Grandmaster by mostly onetricking toplane Belveth and keeping a 60% Winrate in over 400 games. I mostly play the champ top because I am a toplane main and i am bad at jungle but I still like the champion. I found a way to make use of her, even if you stack your passive slowly or way less and that is building her as a tanky bruiser, that does not get oneshotted every fight but still has damage to dive and kill multiple targets in teamfights. I hope you can make use of this guide and if so, feel free to follow my Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxRQ5FwD1t7Hd1oIzyv4CqA)
or my Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/janskylol) for some Belveth gameplay.
Best of luck and enjoy :)
Why would you play that build?
In my time of playing Bel'Veth I always disliked getting oneshot after minute 20 or such and to literally even get punished for picking up my ults in teamfight, because you lose damage not attacking. With this build you obviously lose damage but you still carry enough to fight most champions in a 1v1 and if you are ahead you can even turn fights with numbers in enemies favor. To sum it up: You trade some damage for being alot tankier. Also, this will be a rather general aspect but learning to play Belveth toplane takes time. Alot of time. In my first lets say 15 games, I've lost about 14 I guess and I literally unintentionally ran it down every game because the champions feels different to play than anything else in my opionion. Also I've been researching the "ideal itembuild" for about 250-300 games and I still baven't figured out, what would be the optimal go to but at my current point, the Bruiser build with Titanic, Heartsteel and Stoneplate is my best go to.
