This is my first build, and Jarvan IV is my best personal build. I hope you will have better performance with Jarvan IV, using this build.

Jarvan IV is a very solid champion. I'll show some strengths and weaknesses.

Pros:

~ Good at pushing a lane solo
~ AoE(Area of Effect) slow
~ Good stealer with Damacian Standard
~ Can knock up 5 people at a time
~ Can use Cataclysm at escaping pretty easy



Cons:

~ Is a bit squishy until lvl 3
~ Is a bit powerless at lvl 1, because you don't have Dragon Strike to make a combo.
~ If ulti is not used correctly you can get yourself or a teammate killed, or have an enemy get away

Greater Mark of Desolation Armor Pen. gives you a major advantage at level 1, because you do more damage without any items.

This protects you from champions that have Armor Pen.

It's a must have if you wanna start with an advantage over champions like Master Yi and other champions with AS.

I didn't know what to put here...

A little bit more AS just for the hell of it.

I don't think Jarvan IV needs points in Defense, because he is a lil' bit tanky. He needs points in Offense to harass people at small lvl, with the help of Greater Mark of Desolation.

I usually use and on ANY champion. But with Jarvan you can use , or , depends on you're preferences.

In a 5vs5 match you can also get to get quicker in the lane, or you can use if you have problems with mana.

DON'T USE AT ALL COSTS , or other support spells. II saw a Jarvan IV n00b that used Fortify and Heal, so don't be stupid with this.

Starting Items

I start with for a bit of health and armor. I choose for more AS. You can also buy some if you feel more secure.

Midgame Items

The gives you bonus damage, some Health and Mana regen. and lets you kill minions quicker, for better pushing. If you want you can also buy for slow and more Health.

is good for Mana, and some extra damage. I like to build Jarvan IV with every item having some damage.
After I buy armor, magic resistance or a depends on the enemy champions.

You can choose after this different items like , or for additional damage.

Health/Armor/Magic Resist
