Introduction

Hello, welcome to my Jax build. This guide will show you how to be effective with the new Jax and I will be discussing about the things I chose and why I chose them. To start things off I think the new jax is better for quick kills where the old jax was more of a tank and more for stunning. With the reduced cool down on his empower, you want to build it more than your leap strike because its more effective. Also, since the new jax is not a tank and instead of being over 3000 health at the end of your build, your more squishy and need attack speed and lifesteal. Also make sure you always use your ultimate in a fight as it gives a lot of extra attack damage for faster kills.

Runes

Since the new jax is not a tank, i decided to build magic resist and armor per level glyphs and seals. The crit chance totals at 11% from the marks and quintessence with just runes so you can hit a high crit and get early kills.

Masteries

The masteries are pretty standard for an ad champion. Attack damage, lifesteal, and some armor to help you take more damage.

Items

The old jax worked a lot better with ability power but the new one is just another ad carry. Since jax is squishy you want to build lifesteal, a little armor, Attack damage, and last but most important attack speed. The speed helps you lifesteal all the damage that's done to you and you get faster kills.

How to defeat a tryndmere

What I love most about jax is I can 1v1 any champion including tryndamere and this is how. WARNING: If he's more fed than you then this probably wont work so only do this if you have more kills (unless its early game and he's only level 6 with a low amount of kills). First, get him down to low health without using your stun. Then, when he uses his endless rage quickly use your stun and you will dodge all of his attacks making his endless rage useless. It's as simple as that and I've dominated solo lanes against tryndamere many times.

Pros / Cons

Pros:-Very good at 1v1ing other ad champs like master yi and olaf.
-Can 1v2 and possibly 1v3 if fed.
-Ultimate gives a great attack bonus
-Passive along with guinsoo's rageblade makes him stronger the more he attacks
Cons-Can be squishy and usually gets focused in team fights
-Not the best for solo laneing against a range
-Stun has a high cooldown at low levels
