I liked your guide man, it's pretty much how I play Katarina, but I have some questions..
1st, why u take magic pen glyphs? Those runes are secondary, and u a lot of magic pen from your runes, sorcerers and void.. I'd switch to CD, idk, but something different..
2nd, why u go for sunfire? If u need better survival, idk, go for abyssal scepter, or maybe even another rylai.. The greatest thing about sunfire is its passive, which u won't use, unless when you are ulting in the middle of them..

1st Well the more Magic pen you have the more damage u deal with your ulti and abilites so you wont need a cd if you totely triple kill :)
2nd The sunfire gives you good survival because of the HP and the armor, the damage that it deals is also good but the main thing here is armor and health.
Well idk the answer for your questions is in try the build :)
But i dont see a point in Sunfire, blue magic pen runes and quint magic pen runes. I shoud take blue ap/lvl or cdr and flat hp for quint or flat ap.
