hello evryone. this is my first guide ever so if u see a mistake feel free to put it in the comments. i got a penta kill and a 1v5 penta kill with this build :D hope u like it too

note: -this is my personal playstyle/build order
-there are things in the item order that can be changed like the Blasting Wand and the
Needlessly Large Rod can be switched.
-u can change the build as u like it.
-u can give an opinion but stay nice :)
-this is a guide for solo mid.

pros:
+high mobilaty
+high damage in teamfights and in 1v1
+no mana
+easy farm


cons:
-has no CC
-weak to CC

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: this will get past MR early game and late game in combination with Sorcerer's Shoes. also u can buy Void Staff instead of Zhonya's Hourglass or Abyssal Mask depending on the enemy team build so u can take somthing else for marks, maybe more CD?

Greater Seal of Magic Resist: with this u will survive early game damage.

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction : Katarina needs CD reduction and that is why u really need this. also u can buy Deathfire Grasp instead of Zhonya's Hourglass or Abyssal Mask. again this depends on the enemy team build.

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power: this gives u that extra 15 AP at lvl1 so u can harras and get early game kills.

Amplifying Tome, Health Potion

the Amplifying Tome is for more early game AP and the Health Potion is to stay in lane for a longer time.

Hextech Revolver

this is more for the spellvamp then the AP. with this u can stay in lane for a longer time without having to buy Health Potion. i dont change this into an Hextech Gunblade untill last becaus it gives u enough spellvamp and u need the other items more.

Boots, Blasting Wand or Needlessly Large Rod

now i buy boots for the extra movement speed in ganks,... and more AP

Sorcerer's Shoes, Blasting Wand or Needlessly Large Rod

again boots for more speed and the magic pen. and the part of Rabadon's Deathcap that u didnt already buy.

Rabadon's Deathcap

just for more AP.

giants belt

this gives u the extra health u need to survive fights.

ryalai's crystal scepter

u need an Blasting Wand and [[ampififying tome] to finish this item but the order in buying them doen't really matter.

Zhonya's Hourglass and/or Abyssal Mask

the order of these items depend on the enemy team's build. u can also replace these items for Void Staff and/or Deathfire Grasp for more CD reduction and/or magic pen.

Hextech Gunblade

now u can replace Hextech Revolver for this item so u get even more spelvamp, AP, ...

Elixir of Agility, Elixir of Brilliance, Elixir of Fortitude, Oracle's Elixir

u dont really need these exept the Elixir of Brilliance bt u have ure full build and they just give u extra good stuff. nothing to lode here.

Flash, Ignite

Flash

this gives u even more mobilaty. i use this more to get away then Shunpo because i use it in fights but u can also use it to get kills (see playstyle)

Ignite

this is what gives me almost evry early game kill.

other viable options

Exhaust

u can use this to catch up to enemies while ure shunpo is on CD and the enemie has more movement speed.

Teleport

this alows u to get to ur lane faster after u B or get faster to places on the map.

Ghost

almost the same as exhaust only u can escape easyer with it and u can catch up to enemies that are in the fog of war.

early game

laning

use ur bounching blade to harras the enemie, and because u dont have mana u can just spam this abilatie (this is the reason why u max Bouncing Blades first) . when the enemie is at half health Shunpo to them use Ignite and Bouncing Blades this mostly give's u the kill. if the enemy still lives and he stays in lane but also stays out of range of ur Shunpo u can use Flash + Shunpo to get to them and use the Bouncing Blades, Ignite combo. when u get to lvl 6 u can use youre ult in this combo too.

ganking

dont use ur shunpo to early, try to walk in range of Bouncing Blades and ur ult and use ur shunpo after they are getting away or used Flash

mid, late game

when u get in a fight Shunpo to the squishi enemies and use ure Bouncing Blades to get evryone on low health. wait with ur ult until the enemy team used all/most of their CC.

as i said before this guide is for soloing mid. when u want to go duolane there are a couple of thing u need to change for example: u max shunpo before bouncing blade,...
