After the recent few patches i began to notice that my damage as support Kayle was a lot higher than i was used to it being. Because of this i looked to see how much damage i could squeeze out of Kayle and this build is the result. Kayle the Carry.


Very good damage output right from lvl 1
Nice utility in the form of Divine Blessing and Intervention
Most people dont focus you at first as they assume you will just use Intervention
With Exhaust and Ghost as well as Reckoning no one can get away from you


Very squishy once you've blown your ult.
Annoying melee attack if your Righteous Fury is on cooldown


I would think that the masterys are pretty much what you would expect of a caster and dont need much talking about.


I like to max Righteous Fury first as i hate having to melee attack as Kayle and it makes your auto attacks hit very hard at lvl 1.
Next i get Reckoning for the increased damage and the slow to make sure they dont get away, as well as it hitting hard early game.
I leave Divine Blessing til last because i prefer damage over utility.
Of course take Intervention whenever possible.


I always use Greater Mark of Magic Penetration for lots of damage to squishy casters, these are non-negotiable on Kayle.

Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration are nice so you dont have to worry about getting mana items and you can focus on your damage output.

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction are nice for the low cooldowns in combination with your masterys and the cooldown reduction from Deathfire Grasp

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power are really nice for early game as when combined with your passive and Amplifying Tome you get loads and loads of ap at lvl 1 and are almost guaranteed first blood.


I usually get Amplifying Tome and a Health Potion to start as it gives you really nice damage but if you are up against some nasty heroes feel free to get a Doran's Ring instead for the extra survivability. The new Malady is now a really nice item for Kayle as it boosts her damage significantly. I next get Boots of Speed so they cant get away and a Blasting Wand to bring my AP up to around 100 already. Next i finish off Sorcerer's Shoes for the magic pen, but i sometimes get Mercury's Treads if they have a lot of cc on their team. Now heres where it gets really fun, Guinsoo's Rageblade gives you a huge damage boost and with Malady you shouldnt have much trouble getting the stacks up quickly. Next comes Hextech Gunblade for !YET ANOTHER SLOW! and even more attack damage and ap that works really well with your passive.
Nashor's Tooth gives you nice cooldown reduction even more attack speed to build your stacks up and more ap to improve your damage with Reckoning. To Finish off I either get Deathfire Grasp for the extra damage and cooldown reduction, or if im getting focused a lot i buy a Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Health, AP, and a constant slow with both your normal attacks and all your abilities, what more could you want from an item.

Early Game: Early game you will be very strong and you can usually be very aggresive in your lane, when most people see your massive amounts of AP for lvl 1 they will start running. Hopefully you can farm enough to get your Blasting Wand before mid game starts as with 100 ap or more you will be hitting like a truck, something most people dont expect out of a Kayle.

Mid Game:

Once you have finished your Guinsoo's Rageblade you can start to pwn face, go to a lane with an enemy champion at fairly low health in it, hit the minions a few times to charge up your stacks, (and lul the enemy into a false sense of security). Then once your at 8 stacks, Pop Ghost, Divine Blessing on yourself if you have it by now, and use Reckoning on the target. The slow from Reckoning will let you catch up easily, and combined with Exhaust afterwards nearly always gets me a kill. For this phase just keep roaming around, ganking and farming minions whenever you can, you need the money.

Late Game:

Once you have your Hextach Gunblade you are easily ready for late game, people will start to focus you if they are smart, but you dont always have to waste Intervention to survive. While the attention of their carrys is on you, you can easily kite them your 2 speed boosts and your 3 slows, yes thats right 3 slows on one character. (unless its yi, then hope someone on your team has a stun ready) While their carry is running around chasing you like a headless chicken the rest of your team are welcome to mop up the enemy while you stop them focusing down whoever they want to with Intervention. If you use positioning correctly you dont need your Intervention to survive and you can still put down some serious damage from a safe place, usually well behind your tank :D.
