Introduction

"Your time has come."

-Kayle, the Judicator.

Hello, and welcome to my Kayle, The Judicator build. Kayle is an interesting hero because of the diversity of how he can be played. Kayle can go DPS, AP, or a hybrid of the two. Enemies don't know whether to expect support or damage output, but will likely get both. Kayle is a nice first tier champion that preforms like a fourth. In this build, you will learn how to build the perfect DPS Kayle.

Runes

Let's start out talking about runes. First of all, we all can agree runes are a pain. No one wants to pay for them, and unless you have a lot of extra IP/RP on your hands, some people dont even bother. However, runes are a good investment for your Kayle. If you grow to enjoy playing him, I encourage it.

Greater Mark of Strength

x9

Greater Glyph of Potency

x3

Greater Seal of Replenishment

x9

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude

x3

The nice part about this Rune set-up is that due too Kayle's passive, Holy Fervor, Kayle will gain ability power from you red glyphs, and attack damage from the blue glyphs as well as the base stats the runes already grant. The yellow Glyphs of Replenishment are a great idea for Kayle because you will find yourself constantly out of mana. The Quintessence of Fortitude's are nice due to Kayle recent patch making him deal more damage, however he is more squishy.
(In a nutshell.)

If you choose not to buy runes, things will be a little more difficult however there is a solution! It just requires a little change-up in the beginning of the item build.

Masteries

For your masteries, you want to go 21 Utility, 9 Offence. The key masteries you want to focus on are the mana regen, XP, movement speed, and MOST importantly Presence of the Master. This is a huge advantage for Kayle. After your Utility is maxed, work your way down the AP way of the Offence tree. I understand some people are not max level, and thats okay. just get as far down as you can in the Utility tree.

Items

Let's start by your first item ( Amplifying Tome ). Choose this item if you followed the Runes I listed above. IF YOU DIDNT, GO Meki Pendant. You will need the mana regen. If you want to struggle a little bit on the MR, and want the AP, go ahead and get the Tome. Some may not agree, with getting the health potion, but I think it's a good idea. I like the thought of being able to harass hard in the first few mineon waves of the game, pop the potion, and by that time you'll have your W.

Entering Mid-Game you should have finished your Boots of Swiftness. Then finish your Rageblade and Nashors Tooth. This is were you really start to dominate. :)

Late game, you want to get your Banshee's Veil. This will work wonders in the defense department. After that, immediately for Madreds' Bloodrazor (If you reach this far). You will be fearless. Three hits and fighters, bruisers, and even some tanks will be gone. If SOMEHOW you havent won yet, go for a Hextech Gunblade. The spell vamp is a nice little perk.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence is pretty straight-forward. It gives you lots of damage, but keeps some support necessary for Kayle. No build should be followed very strictly, but as a guideline. Adjust to the situation you're in, if necessary.

Summoner Spells

I like Ghost and Flash for my summoner spells. It saves you from death countless times. I also like it for tower diving, especially early game. Pop your ult, ghost/flash, kill. :)

Choose other spells if you really feel the desire too, but I recommend these two. Cleanse isn't necessary due the the heal and movement speed increase of his W, and his ult. Exhaust isn't needed because you'll be way faster than anyone else anyway. Clairvoyance, Smite, and Revive are obvious wastes.

Conclusion

Thanks for looking over my build, hopefully you will try it. You won't be disappointed. :)
If you did try it out, PLEASE take the time to review and vote. It means a lot. This is my first ever build, so constructive criticism is appreciated. Edits will be made a frequently as necessary.

Thanks again,
