Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is my first build on the site. I can update it as need be If I leave anything out, or am too vague. Feel free to comment, QQ and other whatnots, just be constructive.
I've used this particular Build and have achieved amazing success with it. My Win/Loss Ratio is 89-49, mostly solo queuing. K/D/A ratio is 931:739:1233 Nothing to brag about, but It's all positive rating.
Ignite - I prefer Ignite as it generally nets me 1-2 kills over the course of the laning phase.
Clarity - I also choose Clarity as your mana pool is relatively small, and if you're anything like me and play aggressively sometimes your mana shy when your ultimate is needed. This Summoner ability can save you or someone on your team, and being able to do that can sometimes make or break a fight.
I start off with Doran's Ring for the AP, Regen and Health to add a little bit of survivability...sometimes pub stars can pull off amazing ganks, and that 120 Health can mean the difference.
I then Blue Pill back when I can afford my Boots of Speed, and Amplifying Tome. If you've managed to get a kill or two before this, sometimes I'll buy an elixir as well.
I Pill back a Second time to pick up Mejai's (If I'm getting fed) or wait to upgrade into Tier 2 boots and Mejai's if the game is a slow one. For the Item build I show Sorc Boots, but like any game, it's entirely dependent on how well you're doing, and how much CC you think you may have coming your way later in the game.
I work my way into a Zhonya's Ring next. Obviously it's pro, just do NOT forget to use the On USE effect, can make or break the outcome of a team fight.
After that I pick 2 defensive Items. I find my bombs doing anywhere to 5-700dmg depending on the target, so if the enemy team is primarily Melee, i go thorn mail, if caster I go banshee's.
As far as Game play goes...
Timebomb - > Rewind - > Timebomb
or if you know they have escapes
Timewarp - > Timebomb - > Rewind - > Timebomb
Be aggressive, continuously place bombs above the squishiest target in your lane, or their Endgame Carry. I try and put out the initial pressure by getting to the bushes first, and then tossing my ignite to give me an additional 10AP, then bombing. this generally prevents them from gaining any ground, and pressure. You may run out of mana from time to time, hopefully you're teammates will help you with Golem so you can obliterate later.
This is Zileans best chance to rack up the kills, you may be lvl 5 - 7 so you should be able to double bomb with ease, and soak up the kills. Often times I'll try and setup a gank on mid if they over extend, or roam from lane to lane trying to setup gank situations, if not, I always just push a tower. Just remember, only push when you know where the enemy team is. Hopefully feeding your mejai's stacks.
Double bomb them while clumped, pay attention to who their focusing on, always be prepared to ULT your teammate, stick to the rear! you do not lead the charge, you are squishy, you are a free kill.
Play aggressive, but play smart. Do not over extend if they have junglers, you're a squishy target, stay near the back, but within teamfight range. Do not miss teamfights, you need those stacks. GL!
