Hi Guys! My name is SuPIeX and I'm a casual player who has neither the time nor the mental fortitude to climb past G2, which was the highest I've ever been. Lucian is the only ADC I play, and I've got more hours on him than any other champ. Follow this guide for easy wins in low elo!

Lucian has a unique passive that lets him do massive amounts of damage in short periods of time. This damage is limited only by how quickly you can weave your spells between your passive procs, which is further limited by your cdr. Notice that on this build we DO NOT BUILD ATTACK SPEED (except for PD/RFC which is just to get us to 75% crit chance or BORK which is for the on-hit effect). Attack speed does not speed up Lucian's passive and if you're playing with this style, almost every attack you make should be empowered by your passive.

Lucian's a relatively difficult champion to assassinate due to his kiting ability and general being slippery due to his E. However, if you're in low elo like I am, you've probably found yourself in various compromised positions such as dashing into a malphite ult. The noob lucian build will make you ridiculously hard to burst down with around 3k hp, tons of armor, and the Death's Dance passive. You can eat a ton of damage to the face, dash out, and quickly get to work. You'll also be surprised by how much damage this build is still able to dish out with Muramana and Bork getting double proc's with Lucian's passive.

Let's say you've found yourself in the pits of elo hell not by a lack of skill but rather by some other unfortunate series of events. You have good mechanics and have no problem dashing out of harm's way in fights. In this case, you can take FULL advantage of Lucian's newly buffed passive crit damage. Remember, we don't need attack speed - we need CDR so our abilities come up faster leading to more passive procs. A basic combo of AA > E > AA > Q > AA will delete people before a typical attack speed adc build can even get 2-3 low damage shots off.

There are 2 great times to trade. You should always look to farm aggressively at the start of the game and all in at level 2 as long as you have an aggressive support that's on your wavelength. Next, you should look for any opportunities when an opponent laner get's too frisky and steps out of position for poke or to proc relic shield. Coordinate with your support to lock them down and pick up an easy kill. Note that if your support is taking a nap or is otherwise distracted, this becomes infinitely more difficult and it will be impossible to punish pesky poke supports for harassing you.

There are several basic trades:

1: Q through the minions then AA for your passive.

2: If the enemy is not respecting your space, walk up, then do AA > E >> AA > Q > AA, This proc's your PTA before your Q which results in a huge damage boost. This trade does massive damage and if your support follows up it can easily become a kill.

3: If the enemy is respecting your space, engage with your support and do E > AA > Q >> AA. This will not take advantage of PTA on your Q but it will still do a significant chunk of damage.

If you're playing Noob Lucian, just do whatever you want. Go chase after their backline or peel back and rip through their frontline. You're basically a bruiser and can play like one.

If you're playing Noobslayer Lucian, you need to learn the in's and out's of fights. Dash in (not straight in, try to go in an angle that keeps you to the side of combat but in range to do work) and instantly burst down a squishy target. Then gauge the situation and decide whether to dash toward another target or dash to safety before going in again. Let your team control the flow of the battle. Your job is not to provide consistent dps - you're almost playing like an assassin in this regard.

Armed with this unorthodox knowledge, I hope you are able to go into your low elo games and dominate the game. I highly recommend playing with a support you can trust, as your win rate will go up significantly. Good luck out there on the rift!
