You are Mantheon! You take solo lane and you FORCE weak champs back!

my guide to how i play pantheon, like every other solo top these days i play him as a bruiser, by end game you'll be able to take some serious damage with your armor and magic resist at pretty reasonable levels without sacrificing any damage.

your man drop can break up a fight and confuse the enemy

NEEDS armor pen (runes and brutaliser should be enough)
If you haven't got a brain, you struggle with his ult because you'll just feed with it.
NO ESCAPE MECHANIC!

ok here i thought id explain my item picks and choices.
start with boots and pots, standard. get in early game, creep kill, get out.

brutaliser: armor pen and cd reduction are perfect for early game panth, not to mention the nice damage buff it gives you.

Merc treads/Ninja tabi: depending on the team youll want to pick these up asap after brutaliser for added speed and durability in lane and for ganking with your ult

Phage: slow proc, damage AND hp, nuff said.

Atmas: i get atmas after phage because you only need around 1600hp to get your moneys worth on it. it wil give you around 32 attack damage 45 armor and 18% crit at 1600hp, i mainly buy it early for armor and damage.

Frozen mallet: upgrade phage asap, you can skip phage and buy warmogs, but i like the slow for chasing ad carrys after i drop on the face.

Bloodthirster: for some much needed sustain and 100 attack damage you cant really say no too!

Youmous: crit chance, armor pen and damage (not to mention its active: attack speed and movement speed)

Infinity Edge: 80 attack damage and works well with HSS passive and with your other items youll finish up on 58% crit chance with 260% crit damage (with mastery)

early game just try getting in and out for creeps as quick as possible, try not to get tagged. if you have to, use your spear shot to last hit and dont harass until spear shot is at least lvl 3, you wont do enough damage so it will be a waste of mana! play safe and when you feel confident, start playing in fron of enemy creeps, your spear shot will take CHUNKS of hp away and a lot of solo's will be scared to go within your range. justt dont get confidant around WW, hes too strong solo with unbeatable sustain. stupid easy wolfman players, hopefully his Q will be nerfed soon seeing as ALL other sustain was nerfed. (even irelia's ult!)

Flash: standard, without any escape tools, Mantheon needs flash

Teleport: handy to have but with his ult it can be a waste of a spell

ignite: good against anyone with lifesteal and for securing that last hit!

exhast: i find with frozen mallet im fine without it, but if you build warmogs, a good summoner to have.

cleanse: GTFO YOUR MANTHEON

Heal: can help while your learning to play, but due to hp late game, this summoner wil fall off after about 15-20 mins.

Ghost: i think panth is passively fast enough not to need ghost, but its all down to preference. so if you want it, use it!

armor pen marks and quint's are a MUST!!!!!

i use armor seals and magic resist glyphs for some extra tankiness, but they can be changed to suit your own playstyle.
