Intro

Hi guys this my personal build for Master Yi with my tips for playing as Master Yi. I still don't know how to put in pictures so there won't be any for now.

Skill Order

My skill order is based on maxing Wuju Style first, then Alpha Strike, Meditate, and of course Highlander whenever possible. I personally think that maxing Wuju Style first increases Master Yi's damage output, ocmbined with the armor penetration runes you deal tons of damage early game, which makes for great harassing. Remember, Alpha Strike deals MAGIC DAMAGE, not physical damage. So maxing this first won't really help unleess you're Ability Power Yi. Meditate is maxed last because you don't have to really use it a lot, plus is has an extremely long cooldown and it costs quite some mana in my opinion.

Items

I usually start off Master Yi with Boots of Speed and 3 Health Potions. This gives you a head start with your Berserker's Greaves and you don't have to contantly return to base to heal. When you have about 1000 Gold, or at least 520 Gold, Recall and buy Berserker's Greaves. Then you should start building Zeal to get Phantom Dancer. This gives you insane amounts of Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and some Critical hit chance. Then get Vampiric Sceptor, and if you are getting fed, you should finish up Bloodthirster fairly easily. It's insane 60 Attack Damage and Life Steal are great, but it's EPIC Unique Passive which after enough minion kills, gives you a total of 100 Attack Damage and +10% Life Steal! By now the enemies should be realizing you are extremely powerful, and they might get a Thornmail. This is why you start building The Black Cleaver, since it gives you 55 Attack Damage, 30 Attack Speed, and the armor shredding passive that stacks up to 3 times. This should help out your other Attack Damage allies and get rid of the Thornmail problem. After that you should get Infinity Edge for the Attack Damage. Now, I shouldn't be critisizing, but here's what I have to say to a lot of people. Infinity Edge gives Critical hit chance, yes, but also critical hit damage percentage increase! Tons of people think it give 250% critical chance, and end up whining like brats. So yeah. xD Anyways, it's for the Damage only. Then, the final item if more for utility and to troll the other team. Frozen Mallet gives you an insane amount of health, some damage, and the pssive slow with each basic attack. You can chase down enemies without having to blow your ultimate all th time to kill someone, or to kill someone when your ultimate isn't ready. Although, the last item is purely based on your choice. You can get another Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge, or something for utility.
