Hello once again my children, for I have returned with another guide to our favorite bisexual disaster. I would like to take the time and state that YES I know regular support items are cheaper and affect the team more positively when in the Support role. However, Rell is not Nautilus. She's not Braum. She sure as hell is not Thresh. Rell is a ******** wedge used to pry open the enemy team's armor and let your team get in there and wipe them. In order to accomplish that, Rell needs to be tanky as hell and regular support items do not offer that.

Top
For Toplane, Rell is an interesting character to interact with. Rell steals whatever defences you build against her (even worse if you're AP build magic resist). Rell is also undivable. If she at least has W up, no one can disrespect you and your tower. I have gotten so many doubles and triples at critical health with people doing that it's not even funny. Rell is also a tremendously good team-fighter, so having easily the best engage support on speed dial after Toplane quest is just too good.
Mid
Mid lane can honestly be tricky, but not impossible. Burst champs lose any easy income off you and are forced to roam, (in general people get bored fighting you and roam anyway), and your team has a great team-fighter just down the way at any given time.
Jungle
I will admit, this is probaly her weakest role, (especially since they took away her monster damage shortly after her rework), but it plays into her identity has a teamfighter really well. When you're not farming, you're getting your team kills and scoring obj, which Rell loves doing any damn way. Not to mention, with maxing W first and getting boots early, Rell becomes the fastest champ on the map at roughly 15 minutes, especially if you take Gustwalker.

To be honest, Rell is played no where near enough. She's such a fun champion and I genuinely cannot see myself maining anyone else in the forseeable future. I have almost 700k mastery points at the time I'm writing this with rougly 2.5 years on her in total and I can safely say I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Rell. Run this **** instead of regular support (and instead of regular support items), and I promise you will have fun.
