Miss Fortune Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is my first build that I really felt was strong enough to post, so let's see what everyone else thinks. The goal is to obviously build up as much armor reduction/penetration as possible. This not only helps you deal more damage, but helps your TEAM do more damage and makes you an asset in team fights other then straight damage.
I chose a 22/0/8 build, taking all the relevant physical damage boosts in the offense tree, enhancing my Exhaust, and taking full ranks in cooldowns. The support tree, I took health/mana regen and experience boost for going mid. If you aren't going to mid, you can switch the exp boost with max mana.
Exhaust: I like Exhaust a lot for Miss Fortune. It helps me slow them down for an escape/chase, but it also will save your life if you're in a losing battle and need the 100% miss chance to win you the fight. ALWAYS take Exhaust.
Flash: I love Flash. The sheer versatility of the spell is worth taking it. You can escape with it, you can chase with it, it's good for getting over walls, if you're skilled with it.
Other Summoner Abilities worth noting
If you don't want Flash, other abilities worth noting are Ignite or Ghost, but as i've stated before, I really prefer Exhaust/Flash.
I take Armor Penetration and Mana Regeneration runes to keep my abilities flowing and make my physical attacks hit that much harder.
Here are the items I prefer to use with Miss Fortune.
I first take a Vampiric Scepter to help me stay in the lane and not have to B as much to regen health. This will eventually be upgraded into a Stark's Fervor. I cannot stress enough how good this item is. It gives you attack speed and lifesteal, but then also gives your allies attack speed and lifesteal, then also reduces your enemies armor by 20.
My 2nd item is Berserker Greaves. I've seen people talk about BG not being all that good, but for my build, it seems to work fine. +25% attack speed and Enhanced Movement 2. With strut, you'll have a movement speed in the 430s.
My 3rd item is the Brutalizer. This gives you cooldowns and also gives you attack damage and armor penetration. As the build revolves around armor penetration, this is a perfect item. Later on, if you have the money, feel free to upgrade it to Ghostblade, but i've yet to get that far into a game.
My 4th item is Black Cleaver. This gives 75 attack damage, but also gives up to 60 armor reduction for your target. This helps both you and your allies grind this person to dust.
My 5th item is Frozen Mallet. This item gives attack damage, max health, and it slows your enemy every time you shoot them. This helps you and your allies chase enemies down, but also helps in an escape if need be.
My final item is Infinity Edge. Now, this item can be replaced with any item of your choice, really. Infinity Edge grants 80 attack damage, 20% crit chance, and boosts your crits to 250% damage. Other good items, though, would be: Bloodthirster, Madred's Bloodrazor, Manamune, or even Phantom Dancer. The 1st 5 items are the core items, this is simply a bonus of your choice.
