Spells:
Flash
Ignite
Ability Order
Darkness Rise (PASSIVE)
Mordekaiser Passive Ability
INTRO
If your wanting to play Morde as an AP hybrid tank you mostly want to focus on getting AP first then building your tanky items later in the game once you get two to three AP items depending both on your team and the enemy team.
Your going to want to start off with a Regrowth pendant and a health pot to take away from some of the health your losing from using your abilities.
Then your going to want to either get an amplifying tome and boots if your getting really fed in lane if not then just get your boots.
your gonna want to make you boots into sorcerer boots and make that amp tome into a will of the ancients because your going to be hitting alot of enemies with you abilites during a team fight and thatll help you stay alive if one or two people focus you.
then your gonna want a Death cap for extra ability damage.
then depending on the enemy team build your tanky items such as for an AP heavy team a GA's and a Force of Nature.
For an AD heavy team still get a GA's but instead of a Force you would get a Randuins omen or a Thornmail preferably a Randuins for the extra health and then if you have time make that Regrowth pendant into your warmogs you can sometimes make your warmogs before you get your will if your fed enough.

your going to want to max your W first grab it at lvl 1 then at two grab your w then lvl 3 grab your q then max your E then Q then W and your Ulti whenever possible.
For summoner spells your going to want to get Ignite/Flash or Ignite/Ghost.
The reason for these two sets of spell choices are Ignite always pairs well with your ulitmate.
And Flash or Ghost for chasing or getting away from a fight you are losing but your playing Morde you should never lose a fight but on the odd chance you do then use those to run.
The other spells i dont see paring with him very well with his build and skill set heal would be good i guess early but would fade out once you get your will of the ancients there are just alot of pros and cons to the rest of the spells but fore the Ignite/Flash or Ignite/Ghost combos there are mostly only Pros.
