I like Movement speed quints because being that mundo doesn't have a way to initiate fights other than running in and chucking cleavers at everybody, and being a little more quick is handy.
Since i try to stay in my initial lane atleast long enough to get my warmog's chances are im gonna get ganked when people realize it's 20 minutes in and i still only have a ruby crystal. So i try to bait the enemy(s) to my tower, at which point i pop sadism and fortify and start running circles around the tower, being sure to chuck a cleaver at the enemy whenever possible.
And is its a melee dps'er diving on me, exhaust is also a great help.
But the spells definetely aren't set in stone, for beginners i would recommend trying:
Ghost
Heal
Flash
And maybe Cleanse
Warmogs is probably mundo's favorite item. i've even had successful games just stacking warmogs. But remember to FARM FARM FARM, warmogs is much more helpful when it adds 1300+ hp instead of 930. and especially since they recently dropped the price to 3k, getting this item greatly helps your mid-late game tankiness.
Most mundo players like to get spirit visage first for the 20% increased regen. But heres my thinking; both mundos passive and ultimate give regen based off of max hp, so the massive health from warmogs will boost your regen to about the same as a spirit visage, while also making you more flat out tanky.
I always go warmogs -> spirit visage -> boots. the next 3 items should be purchased in an effective order to counter the other team. i.e. if they're primarily caster, get force of nature first, if they're primarily fighters try GA or SF cape first, simple as that.
Team Fights
Although he may seem invincible, never go blatantly initiating 5v5 fights, try to stay in the middle lane harassing them with your cleavers for as long as possible to give your team a hp advantage when a full fight breaks out. and remember to trigger machoism as frequently as possible to keep your damage output high enough to **** on their carries and eat them for breakfast.
Try him out! any feedback, positive or negative, is always appreciated
