Introduction

Nasus is an amazing and unique champion, that can be devastating when played well. This build will focus on playing him solo top and I will also add a chapter of the amazing combo - Soraka and Nasus. (OFC it´s just for fun).

I dont play ranked a lot. If I do I play Yorick, because hes a OP solo top and owns everyone, while Nasus is handicaped by who will stand against him.

My name is Yummyzombie on EU West platform. My Mobafire name is Tastyzombie cuz i messed up my first account :/

Runes

I like these runes and they are usually more than helpful in my situations.

Marks of Desolation for some Armor Penetration to deal more damage.
Seals of Regeneration for early HP regen.
Glyphs of Shielding to be more effective against well-doing APs.
Quints of Fortitude for better early game, it helps a lot. I use the Halloween Quintessence of Bountiful Treats.

Masteries

It is obvious. Nuff said.

Skill Sequence

Lots of people max Siphoning Strike first. My question is - why? Spirit Fire offers much more farm and damages the minions for an easy farming. What I do is, I take Spirit Fire at level 1 and hit minions with it. After you get your Sheen, last hitting should be easier.

Summoner Spells

I use Flash and Ignite. Why?

Flash is a spell that allows me to surprise enemies to kill them or i flash through walls to save my a*s.
Ignite secures the kill. While your enemy is on lane, throw a Spirit Fire on them, Ignite and you got a lot of damage. After that, slow with Wither and finish him off somehow.

Teleport for ganking.
Clarity for more mana (you are pretty hungry).

When to play Nasus?

Here I will write a list of champions you can/can not solo top

YOU CAN PRETTY EASILY

Warwick - this guy cant hurt you much - free farm!
Renekton - your brother
Shyvana - the new champion, just evade her when her Burnout is active
Nasus - it is you! Both of you should farm minions like crazy, with a little harrass that should not be deadly until a gank comes...)
Veigar - this guy should keep an eye on his farm too, but he will strike back if you try to strike him
There are actually some others that should be pretty easy to lane, I just dont want to write them all.

CHALLENGING

Any sort of ranged champion ( Brand, Malzahar, Vladimir etc.)
Riven
Talon
Tryndamere
Lee Sin
Rumble
Ziggs
Fiora
Darius
etc.

VERY HARD

Yorick
Teemo
Skarner

You may not agree with me, its just a matter of gameplay, but I really think that Nasus is a champion that should be picked only when his farm will not be painfully achieved. (Ofc this is just for draft mode)

Team Work

When your jungler or some other guys comes to gank, open up with a slow from Wither. This is one of the strongest slows in game. Then it depends on situation. Nocturne can launch himself on an enemy, while Warwick suppresses the enemy. Wither helps especially champions with skill shots, like Lee Sin.

However, continue with Spirit Fire, Ignite and Siphoning Strike. Congratulations, the kill is yours!

Teamfight

This is a place, where your ultimate comes in handy. If you farmed well, you should totally CRUSH enemy carry with only Q and E. With your ultimate active, just keep running between enemies and beat the **** out of them!

Soraka + Nasus

WHAT THE...?! might be your first thought. But just think of it a bit. Soraka keeps healing you and giving you mana, which means that you can dive for that minion, because you will just get your health back. This means a lot of farm to you for the cost of XP. Actually I dont mind about XP.

Summary

This is it. This was my second guide, I hope you like it and it will help you to play Nasus more effectively.

Comment below, vote and +Rep me if you liked this build :-)
This build was new, when Shyvana came out. Since then it hasn´t been updated, but except for the "When to play Nasus" section, it covers, what you need to know.

I could use some help of adding pictures, if someone can help me write it in comment! THE END!
