Introduction
Nidalee does incredible damage. As I see her, her javelin toss(Q) is one of the highest damage AP nuke in the game. This item build capitalizes that. The last item is free to build into whatever item you chose- to fit the situation endgame. Grab another deathcap, a soulstealer if you will. Buy a guardian angel if you please. This build is pure cannon, very little armor or magic resist but enough health to resist burst damage, added sustain of heals improves Nid's chances of survival.
I usually mid as Nidalee and this guide reflects that. Take your javelin first and max it. Put points in your R when you can, then max your heal, then bushwhack. If you have mana to spare, spam those ***********in' traps, they last 3 minutes, lower armor and magic resistance considerably. You see someone hit your trap as they run in for a gank, someone is revealed but unaware that they are- your Que to put a spear on them in their low armor state.
The first 10 levels of the game can be very different for everyone who plays Nidalee. Focus on farming, but don't be oblivious to your surroundings. Watch for ganks and stay at a good range so you can farm without being harassed too much. Playing right you can mid against a Caitlyn, and outplay her, you might not be able to push the lane to far, but you can farm your hearts content and wait for the laning phase to end. There is no surefire stratagey for playing any champion. It comes down to a judgement call where to aim your spears, like all skill shots guide theme to where you expect your enemies to run too. If you judge their reaction times as slow, they feel free to lob a spear straight at them, otherwise observe whether they dodge to the up or down. You will have to accept that you will not hit all your skill shots, and if your enemy is any good they will be a very difficult target to hit. In a team fight you have to judge whether you'll be more use in cougar form in the middle of the action, or from a safe distance, tossing your heal/attackspeed buff at your AD carry and putting a spear on whoever decides to eat it.
