Lead the enemy with Duskbringer (be sure to land this as it will award you with better chasing potential and give you increased Attack Damage which is ery useful). Then activate shroud of darkness to block any Crowd Control abilities the enemy may launch at you. Then use unspeakable horror for the fear. The fear is very important as you can land about 3 shots while they are feared.
If you have your ultimate(Paranoia) then it will be much easier to gank them. Lead with Paranoia. When you arrive be ready to activate your unspeakable horror and quickly after shroud of darkness. While they run away land Duskbringer on them for an easy catch up and assassination!

Farming

Early farming is not easy with any champion and is usually the same. Just go in and last hit minions. Nocturne is the same but with a great advantage. HIS PASSIVE Damages all surrounding enemies and heals him for how many are there. So this can be used to damage a group of minions and heal while doing it.
Nocturnes later farming becomes very very easy easpecially when you start to stack some attack damage. Hit all the minions or most with Duskbringer then attack the minion near the middle so you can hit all minions in the group.

Items

With Nocturne be sure to mix up the items don't go straight for a Infinity Edge or a Phantom get a bit of both. Get some Attack Damage, then a bit of Attack speed, then a bit of lifesteal. This is good as you have good burst on your abilities while also being lethal with your Normal Attacks.
