Oh Captain my Captain!
Oh and also with the new crit items you need to try stacking
Yeah, the Essence Reaver is a strong Item on Gp, i played it sometimes, too. I just forgot to add it^^.
First of all, I don’t really play Gangplank nor Top lane very often. But I saw your comment on that downvoter and became curious.
So personally I think you really took your time to sit down and write down every kind of thought and experience you have and had with that champion which must have taken a long time in order to do so.
I really love how you used quotes within your sections and chapters. It really makes it easier to follow and lets the reader feel how much effort you put into that guide.
Also the videos you added if possible Barrel constellations are awesome because they make it easier to comprehend other than just explaining them in written form.
So please do me the favor and don’t let random people pull a great guide down like yours.
Cheers Wicked Cherry. :]
first of all, I´m sorry you get this comment much later, i was very busy with studying.
Thank you very much for your opinion, you seem to have, although you do not play Gangplank often, dealt something with my guide, I appreciate it very much :D. You´re going so much into detail, it´s great for me to get a detailed description back. I´ll do my best to get this guide great to help other people out, don´t worry!
Cheers, Atlascrower. :)
So, Dark Harvest: + Easy to use with your Q; Strong Lategame-damage | - Got recently nerfed (hard); Useless early, needs too much time to scale if you play Gangplank (You dont roam much, no jungle camps, you have no great Kill-Pressure, so you scale Dh with Cannon minions, every 3. wave just 4 stacks in 1 1/2 minutes is NOT efficient, more like a wasted keystone-space.
Dh is also a rune for easy-matchups as Kleptomancy is, but last one is much stronger, because a fast sheen or Trinity are much better as stronger bonus-damage with minute 40.
I have a question concerning runes: is Kleptomancy still THE best rune on GP or thingd like electrocute / grasp can be also interesting?
I know its super easy to proc but it gives no dmg in fights and sometimes the loot you get is not very useful (like oracle)
first of all, thank you for your opinion, I appreciate it.
Now to your question: Last season, thunderlord was the rune to go for me, but electrocute works a bit different. Cannon Barrage was able to trigger Thunderlord with 3 waves(1 cascade), but electrocute needs 3 separate attacks(different spells/aa´s), you can´t trigger it just with your Ultimate. The usage was a nice R-thunderlord-last-hit-Combo, but it doesn´t work anymore.
I never play Grasp, i like the Damage-GP much more than the Tankplank, but sometimes it´s necessary, against Wukong, for example(This is the only Match-up i use Grasp).
The positive about Cleptomancy is your Gold-generation, and GP scales insane with items, so it is my absolutely favorite rune for Gangplank (And you get lots of bonus-items, too, increasing your lane-comfort[resource-regeneration], for example). I think Cleptomancy is still the best Rune for Gangplank.
An interesting Rune-Core could be a poke-one with Aery and scorch(As Midlane-GP), futures market and Cosmic Insight.
If you want to add something that you found out ingame and that i should potentially add, just leave another comment.
