I am open to suggestions and constructive criticism. Please don't troll. It doesn't do anyone any favors. And, please rate! :]
I started playing a little over a month ago and I bought Pantheon after I earned enough IP using twitch. Like around summoner level 6 I think. I am currently about to hit summoner level 21. Woot! So, you should know I have not been able to test this build to it's fullest extent, but I currently am using a scaled down version of it out of limitation. I have tested a few other champions and Pantheon is still my favorite, however I need to spend more time with others to appreciate them more.
I chose to go 9/21/0, since Pantheons weakness is in his health and also these attributes seem to be much more useful for him versus the offensive tree.
I understand this may look somewhat random, but I choose Aegis first for bot gank so the focused opponent can't just run away. Then I go spear, since you need it for harassment and it works great for a finisher, especially when they run. Third I go HSS, since you need to be able to complete rotations ASAP for maximum pwnge. After that, Skyfall obviously becomes top priority and then I alternate between Spear and HHS. I put priority on Spear over HHS, since it gets used so much and, like I said, it's a great finisher.
If the opposing team is tank heavy or well balanced, I will build thornmail instead of last whisper. The one item I kinda left out in the post is Doran's Blade, since you end up selling it later. But, Doran's Blade is a great item to start out with since it gives you a fair health boost and minor damage and lifesteal.
Quntessences and Marks: I went with armor penetration, since it gives you a consistent damage boost.
Seals: I went dodge, since it works great with your free block and if you took the time to mathematically tie in that free block with your dodge chance, I'm sure it would make the percentage look much higher. I've thought about trying out health seals as well. At level 18, you could get like 184 points of additional health. However, I'm almost certain that putting all of the effort I am putting into dodge will surpass that amount of health the alternative would provide.
Glyphs: I went with health here. It's like almost 90 extra health.
Pantheon needs outs, since he doesn't have any, and both Flash and Ghost fit the bill. The best thing about these spells is that you can use them to both get away from and rush after your enemies. Plus, Pantheon can tower dive with his free block and both spells make that kind of action easier.
In conclusion, out of the past 14 summoner levels this is what I've come up with. I've reviewed the other builds some of you guys have posted and have tested and taken them into consideration. If you have anything to comment or decided to try my build out, I'd like to hear about it!
