Champion Build Guide

[12.3] Menace To LoL Fiora

By King Turtle
Build Intro
This build is going to be a healing focused build. Where we lack power from standard fiora we gain double the healing, allowing for sustain that outmatches most matchups and allows for constant involvement in objectives, teamfights, and random fights here and there. Your late game is going to be incredibly sustain heavy, and will be incredibly dependant on your own skill when it comes to hitting vitals and knowing when to go in or out. There's a lot of potential for greatness in this build, and I hope the explanation below will be sufficient for proving that. Below we'll go over the rest of the guide, from pros and cons, down to the phases of the game. Have Fun!
Pros
-Tons of Healing: With Sunderer and Blade of The Ruined King you have an insane amount of healing and sustain for mid and late game. You can be pretty aggressive as long as you know how to get out after. The healing is going to be your biggest focus with this build.

-Great in trades: Fiora is a great champion for early trades as she can go in and get out pretty quick. Once you get into your build you can thrive in extended trades against most champions, with the exception of certain champions like Gwen who base their entire kit around it. Your power in trades and small skirmishes is high in every phase of the game so it shouldn't be much of an issue anyway.

-Lots of Penetration Stats: Despite us going a more bruiser focused build compared to standard Fiora, we still get plenty of penetration from sunderer mythic passive, allowing us to have some added damage that would make you feel more like a nuke than a standard bruiser champion.
Cons
-Slow Start: Fiora has some built in early power with her early trades, so it's not a massive problem, but this build takes an item or 2 to fully power on meaning your early game is going to be a little weaker against some more difficult matchups.

-Mana Problems: Since we're not going Essence Reaver or Manamune we have to be a little careful of our mana, Presence Of Mind mitigates that issue a bit but depending on how often you're fighting and taking objectives you could run out of mana every now and then. In teamfights as long as you're not trying to 1v4 you shouldn't run out of mana, so it won't screw you that often.
Runes

  • Electrocute is an incredibly underrated keystone on Fiora because it's extremely easy to trigger with your good quick trades and how well your abilities combine into each other. As the game goes on electrocute will absolutely chunk squishies and add some subtle burst against tanks and bruisers.

  • Sudden Impact can be used all the time and adds on to your already good pen from Divine Sunderer, Serylda's Grudge and will add damage to pretty much every fight you ever get involved in throughout the match.

  • Eyeball Collection gives a healthy bonus AD amount and makes up for some damage we miss out on.

  • Ravenous Hunter also helps with healing but unlike Taste Of Blood this is going to be most effective late game for the scaling omnivamp.

  • Presence Of Mind is an incredible poke rune for Fiora as her quick combos and trades can drain a lot of mana depending on how aggressive you are. It'll keep you sustained in lane and let you play more all out. It'll also be just as effective whether it's 5 minutes or 50 minutes since there's never a time where you dont want more mana.

  • Last Stand is going to be great for late game skirmishes as we don't get a ton of resistances so we're going to be going from high to low back to high hp constantly with the insane healing from this build. It'll also make your aggressive trades and constant pressure feel more effective regardless of how much health you have.

    Alternative Runes

  • Press The Attack is going to be amazing with Fiora as she can use the extra damage in trades and she can proc Press The Attack with with her Q, making it even easier to get full stacks on an enemy.

  • Last Stand is good as you're going to be aggressive in teamfights and be in the front a lot. With your healing you'll be able to be low enough to proc Last Stand without killing yourself.

  • Bloodline will be a helper rune for late game lifesteal just to make you a bit harder to kill.

    Alternative Rune Page

  • Conquerer
I originally stopped using Conquerer because of its double nerf, but with it getting buffed again I don't mind using the keystone on fiora once more. It's a solid keystone that is pretty nice on her.

  • This is going to be on the alternate page as well because it just goes so well with Fiora that it's hard not to include it.

  • Tenacity is always a nice thing to have since most champions biggest weakness is hard CC. Fiora deals with it a bit better than most with her W parry, but regardless we're going to get tenacity just in case.

  • Last Stand will be nice in teamfights and skirmishes where you can go aggressive and your massive healing allows you to be low hp without having the back off immediately. Meaning we get use of Last Stand every time we get to low hp.

  • Revitalize will increase your healing power as a replacement for the domination branch healing runes. It's also nice for playing with enchanters who can shield and heal spam you for a year and make you literally unkillable.

  • Conditioning is a great resistence rune as the only requirement for receiving bonus armor and MR is just to get to the 12 minute mark in a game. You get stats just for existing, how nice.
Divine Sunderer

Divine Sunderer is easily the best item on Fiora. Period. The healing on Q proc added with the damage from hitting vitals makes you a two headed monster that can go in, force a trade, and get out without losing any health. The AD itself is a nice touch to her early game damage, but the healing is the best part. Of course, the armor pen gained from the mythic passive is absolutely busted, and makes destroying tanks a literal breeze as well. Finally, the ability haste will make early trades even more effective as you'll be fully equipped as soon as possible. This item is all around just the single best item in general on this champion.
Blade Of The Ruined King

Blade of the Ruined King (Bork)is another amazing item on Fiora, and is generally used in a lot of her builds for good reason. The life steal and attack speed gain are nice additions to her stats, and AD is always useful, but the big factor is the passive. The 12% current health physical damage on attacks makes her incredible trades even more dangerous. Add on that if you choose to split push and focus more on side lane pressure over teamfights, you'll be spending a lot of your time pulling champions to your lane and trying to avoid getting hard focused in a 1v4 situation. The sustain from Blade Of The Ruined King will be good for backing off when needed then coming back after a short time to continue pushing the lane.
Boots

For boots, I chose either Mercury's Treads or Plated Steelcaps. It's just a matchup dependent choice and I leave that choice up to you. I usually prefer going steelcaps for AD champs or auto heavy champs like Kayle where most of their damage is coming from auto attacks. Merc Treads are my preference for heavy AP teams or just teams with a ton of hard CC that could make teamfighting or skirmishing extremely difficult.
Steraks Gage

Steraks Gage should be a solid item on Fiora as she can always use more health, like any other juggernaut. It's also a solid contribution to her total AD as Steraks Gage passive just gives her free AD based off her base AD. The shield is still solid and will continue to be a great help for Fiora's survivability throughout the game. It also has a fairly long shield duration, making it easy to take advantage of the shield and recover some health in those few seconds.
Black Cleaver

Since you aren't going to be melting people, but rather systematically destroying them, it's not too uncommon for you to end up in extended trades. Against a tank or bruiser Black Cleaver will help solve this problem by reducing the opponents armor and making it so they can't sustain enough to keep up with Sunderer, Bork, and Cleaver. Despite the recent movement speed nerfs to Cleaver, the added health that totals out to 400 completely outweighs the nerf(at least imo). As Fiora that added health will be incredible late game. Finally, 30 ability haste is nothing to sneeze at, and since we don't have a ton of ability haste until late game, it's a nice touch that'll keep you ready to fight at any time before you get full build. As long as you can get the enemy to 6 Black Cleaver stacks you'll have a good chance of shredding them to bits.
Deaths Dance

Death's Dance is a solid item for a mix of tank and damage stats, and is a pretty solid way to better use your healing in fights. It's one of my favorite items in the game in general because it works on such a wide variety of champions and different build types, this build included. The armor is a solid addition with the meta favoring AD champions(bruisers especially), and you still gain AD meaning you aren't sacrificing damage for armor like most items with tank stats included.
Early Game
Your early game is going to be the weakest part of this build, but once you get Sunderer you'll be fine enough to survive in lane or even win. A big part of the early game is going to be winning quick trades and poking your opponent out of lane if possible. The healing from Sunderer and Dorans Blade will be plenty enough to be efficient and stay in lane long enough to outfarm your opponent. Also use this time to learn your opponents habits and their patterns so when it comes to teamfights and skirmishes you can counter their CC, or avoid taking massive damage from an ability. It's very important that you learn how to use W properly as a well timed W can completely turn the tide of a fight and totally shutdown some matchups.
Mid/Late Game
Mid game is going to be the biggest part of this build. once you get Blade Of The Ruined King, you can make a decision to either continue split pushing, or go teamfight and blow the enemy team out of the water. Either way, you'll have the potential to completely turn the tides of a match. It's important to keep up on farm and regardless of which path you choose, getting used to enemy habits and timings so you can better use your W in fights. Late game with full build you can solo most matchups and heal enough on vitals to be able to win handicap fights. Even in matchups where the enemy can kite, your Q spam will keep you on that person for as long as you wish. A lot of your strengths are going to be your variety of armor pen and the mobility to make use of your core items like Sunderer and Bork.
Build Conclusion
In Conclusion, This build is slightly weak early on, but after your first 2 items you become a monster that doesn't fall off, and can win most solo fights and some handicap fights. Electrocute still has massive impact at every phase of the game and is great at catching the enemy off guard in early trades. There are a few matchups I've found troublesome which are listed, but there aren't any matchups where you flatout lose throughout the whole game. Late game is the most fun part of this build because you have the potential to win any fight and carry a dog team. In general, you gain a lot of stats that regular Fiora doesn't give, while still doing the kind of damage that regular Fiora does. It's an all around build that'll keep you alive, while still being able to kill anyone in your way. Hopefully this is enough for you to give this build a try, I believe it is a fun and great alternative to standard Fiora. GLHF!
