Poppy the Iron Ambassador is a great multi-role Champion with VERY high levels of Fight Disruption. During this guide I am going to go over the whatnot's of Poppy as well as her Pro's and Cons. So sit back, Relax and let me take you thru the wonderful world of Poppy.

Marks: Greater Mark of Desolation is going to be your choice for this build. You will spending most of your time Auto Attacking and the Extra Armor penetration is going to be extreamly helpful. However if you want to Deviate a bit from this go for Attack Speed Marks.

Seals: Greater Seal of Resilience is again the best pick for this build Because you will be in the middle of the fight at all stages of the game having this extra armor is going to help against early game poke and minions.

Glyphs: Greater Glyph of Celerity is going to provide you with Semi-Solid CDR as the game progresses. There isn't much room in this build so this and Blue buff will be all you need.

Quintessence: Greater Quintessence of Desolation will provide you with more of the Vital Armor Penetration you need to fight off minion waves. Again if you MUST deviate from this go for the Movement speed quints.

Poppies Masteries are designed to allow maximum physical Damage at any stage versus any foe. 21/0/9 Are your skill set up. Making sure to take the Lifesteal Mastery this is one of the most important in the build.

Despite the need for Armor Penetration DO NOT!take Weapon Expertise unless you plan on removing the Desolation Marks/Quintessence. If you do this Replace Black Cleaver with Last Whisper

Stark's Fervor: Attack Speed, Life steal and Passive Health Regen. Everything you need to push those minions and keep that harass from sending you away from tower.

Berserker's Greaves: Attack speed, +2 speed. Poppy's need to maneuver is great but Boots 2 is more then enough in this build

Trinity Force: SO many stats it hurts, And Poppy uses them all. The passive 150% Damage is catastrophic when Combined with Devastating Blow Poppy's Q ability.

Phantom Dancers: While crit is nice to have it isn't too core in this build. Your being Granted more Movement to maneuver your abilites and Attack speed to continue to whittle at your foe's HP.

Black Cleaver: Nothing like knowing each hit makes you hit harder. Black Cleavers Attack speed and Armor Penetration are suited for Poppy in making even tanks quiver in fear of the Yordle.

Cloak And Dagger / Madreds BLoodrazors: Your final is up to you really, However I Strongly Suggest one of these. The Tenacity and Attack speed provided by Cloak and Dagger are Valuable while the HP % Shred and Speed of Madreds is also useful. Pick at your own choice of course.

Skill Sequence

Passive: Valiant Fighter - Any damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%. This does not reduce damage from structures.

This is easily one of the most USEFUL passives in the world. I have seen Poppy with 100 or less HP survive Gangplank Parley and laugh it off. Take caution in what you can handle but abuse this ability when ever you can. Survival is key.

Q: Devastating Blow - Poppy crushes her opponent, dealing attack damage plus a flat amount and 8% of her target's max health as bonus damage. The bonus damage cannot exceed a threshold based on rank.

Good farming ability and a good Harass when foe's get to close. Pop this after a Heroic Charge or just before and receive the full effect of it.

W: Paragon of Demacia - Passive: Upon being hit or attacking an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased for 5 seconds. This effect can stack 10 times. Active: Poppy gains max stacks of Paragon of Demacia and her movement speed is increased for 5 seconds.

Better, Harder, Stronger. This is Poppy's most useful ability. The longer you stay in battle the harder your going to hit and the more punishment you take. Max this first and reap the rewards.

E: Heroic Charge - Poppy charges at an enemy and carries them further. The initial impact deals a small amount of damage, and if they collide with terrain, her target will take a high amount of damage and be stunned.

It's all about position. This is one of the most Disruptive abilities in the game allowing you to push foe's away from team mates, OR into them if need be. Slamming them into a wall -Or a Spinning Rammus- Will ensure a quick kill.

R: Diplomatic Immunity - Poppy focuses intently on a single enemy champion, dealing increased damage to them. Poppy is immune to any damage and abilities from enemies other than her target.

Think Tryndamere is the only one able to live forever against the odd. This ability causes everything except your target to do NO Damage for a duration. This includes Turrets. Use this on the least threatening member of a team and turn your attention to the stronger ones as they are powerless to stop you.

Please note you CAN be CC'ed by anyone in this state you just can't be hurt.

Summoner Spells

Good: Exhaust and Ignite are my main Suggestions. However Ghost, Cleanse, Surge and Promote are good choices.

Decent: Clarity, Heal and Teleport are OK choices. Smite if Jungling -which you can do with this build just adjust Masteries-

Never: Flash, Revive or Clairvoyance. Many will argue on flash but if you can't catch or escape from your quarry then your team is making the mistakes.

Does not Lane well with others. If you don't a Support in your lane then you better be solo.

Team Work

This is important. Poppy can either set up kills or If a team is good will set them for her. Slow's, Stun's and other forms of CC allow Poppy to push enemies into a better spot to finish them off.

Poppy's farming is fairly straight forward. Last hitting isn't advised as you want to keep W up as much as possible. Learn to ove back and forth behind your minions to prevent over harass.
