PRO PLAYERS BUILDS & TIPS [SEASON 10]

By Marensius1
INFORMATION
Hi I`m Marensius1, a one tricked Lee Sin ;) I writing this guide to share with you what I learned since season 3 with thousands of lee sin games. I will always update and improve the guide over time so stay patient :)

This build is meant for an active ganker with some cheese tactics on how to setup a gank, what to gank, where and when to gank a lane . You will find more in my chapter for ganking, so be sure to check it out!

ALWAYS get them Control wards, when backing home. This is a totally game changer when ganking trough lanes.

What key is the best for wards?

I always put my wards on "2", because it really close to your "w" so you can just slide your fingerer across it. The most important thing is to do what you are used to and whats the most comfortable.
stalker's blade VS skirmisher's sabre
Wich is better?

Item Sequence

Stalker's Blade - Warrior 2625
Skirmisher's Sabre - Warrior 2625

What jungle item to get really depends on your enemy jungle. First of all is the enemy a good duel champ, like xin zhao, camille, panth and so on... Then you should most likely stick with RED smite.

If your Enemy is a fiddelsticks, zac, kindred etc.. That is not so strong early on, and you will most likely won a fight against those guys, then you should be good with BLUE smite, why BLUE smite when RED is stronger winning a duel, why you even pick BLUE for? When you know you will win your matchup in the jungle picking up BLUE smite would give that slow aswell when ganking or chasing someone down. That will be a benefit for you, if you play your match up right!

Another tecnuiqe is when you’re not sure in who’s favor your matchup will end. You can catch out what smite your enemy jungler are running. Is the enemy running blue you should be alot more safe to run it too!
MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS FOR THE BUILD

Be sure it’s no standard build you should run every game. So what should you build?
1. You should always analyze your game before the game starts. Who enemy got the potential to carry the game and could snowball pretty hard. If you are going against an malphite you should know if he’s still at 5/0 he can’t deal that amount of damage a yasuo could. If you then meet a gragas jungle you still will prioritize to buy armor

Or

2. You are getting really far behind Gragas killed you twice. They got a brand supp sitting at 6 assists. What should you do? This is a situation is really dependence on how the game goes on. If the ap dealers got a far lead then you should try to get a combination of MR and DMG to shut them down. Still you should have in mind that a yasuo (camille, fiora, vayne...etc) got a much higher carry potential than a gragas and have to consider some armor on how big he gets
Duskblade can be a really good item and I had alot of succeed with it. It’s great to oneshot the enemy damage dealers and if you feel your team lack a bit damage you should go for it. Giving you the opportunity to shutdown a tristana with r then q. Similar with ghostblade, but I only use that in spesific matchups or situations I feel for a ms boost to complete it. Edge of night is great if the enemy got a lot of cc, and you struggle get behind their frontlines. Dominiks is not a bad item if they rush hard armor, would make it a bit easier for you. All defensive items here is a good replace and take what you feel for. Spirit visage is really nice vs hardcore AP, thornmail vs hardcore ad, Dead man’s plate for that little MS boost, sunfire cape if you standing on their team (lol) and Randuin’s omen if the enemy always get away or have to much movement speed
Creeping / Jungling
Invade RED BUFF:

start off with the enemy red buff. You should get there early in the brush behind his buff. When the timer gets at 1:25 be prepared to go in. If the enemy jungler starts at his red buff try go for first blood. If he falls back with his teammates secure the buff with Sonic Wave and Smite. Now you should get to your red buff and secure it before enemy jungler head over to your jungle. Some vision around your buff would be usefull as well. If he didn't go at his blue buff after your invade you should try steal it as well if you did spot him. You already have red buff for some extra damage, so use your potential. Here is a video of me playing Lee vs Warwik and I was pretty sure he didn’t ward when they didn’t expect us to come at all.

https://vimeo.com/325981535

Remember only use this when you and your top/bot are stronger than their top/bot. If you start on blue side and you plays vs a xin zhao and think to invade his red. Whos got the stronger toplaner? If they got Darius while you have a Nasus don’t do it

Midgame:
-Try to spot the enemy jungler most of the time. When does he do he's buffs and when.

-If you head some levels in front of him use the advantage to get for a blood on him or his buffs

-Place Control Ward at your and the enemy buffs to get map control.

How to Insec (Tutorial) Lee Sin Combo Guide + 4 Basic Combos ft Gripex

This Lee Sin Insec combo has gotten pretty popular, being used by players like "Gripex", "Heizman", and others

- Crypter

Aswell as flash jump combo. Makes you jump really far. (By placing ward flash then w)

TEAMFIGHTS

Teamfights is all about get you in the right position. Wait for your opponents to pull off some mistakes and take advantage of it. Take a look at .

Insec can be performed in many ways and different styles. It's all about to suprise the enemys, going in when youre ahead and taking picks when you get the opportunity. Here you can see both of it with todays Lee sin high mechanics technuiqes:

SO THE BEST QUESTION TO ASK YOURSELF IS WHAT TASK AND POSITION YOU GOT IN YOUR TEAM. If you need to be a tank for your team caus your team got no health, then you need to block and let the enemy carrys focus you. If you’re team is lacking damage, you will build duskblade and some assassin items to kill their carrys. Or last, if your team got some damage and someone else to tank you should go between.
GANKING
As Lee sin you get a high score in all states. First of all you do really dirty damage in the early part trough the game. Your mobility is one of the best a jungler can get with cc to make the gank more easy for you and your laners. As you sitting down and reading this you should be proud to be a Lee Sin player! Why im proud?(lol) LEE SIN is a champion that have a really high learning curve, wich means players need to play a lot of him to master him. That is a differnce compared to master yi, you learn alot more easy. So that means if you as a Lee Sin player will improve alot and have a big benefit of his kit while you still is improving as a Lee player. You will always learn alot each game while paying attention to the mistakes you make. Over time you have mastered the most advanced mechanics in league of legends and you’re now a GOD!

Welcome to the ganking guide~

i will setup some steps that will improve (I hope) you as a jungler. The first step we will think about is

1. Analyze your matchups before game starts. What champ(s) got the most cc looking at all three lanes. If you got a vayne and soraka vs a thresh and lucian you know that is a lane with low priority. If your Mid is a ryze vs yasuo, then you have a lane wich u should prioritize bcs of the early cc and a gank after the first buff would been or kill or a flash

2. What camp to start? Well after the analyze you see you have a panth top and ryze mid. You have pantheon with great cc and damage early and ryze with some cc early on against yasuo. If you then start BLUE side you should start with your blue or take enemy red for an early gank top and mid

3. Should I never gank bot? Yes you should, but not in the early levels because the enemy bot win so hard the first levels. Around level 6 you should go in after they pushed the wave. If this didnt succeed you should come back for a new gank when they most likely burned there summoners spells in the last gank.

4. What if I get counter ganked while trying ganking bot(in this case)? This is why it’s so important to track the enemy jungler. First off all, see if the top or botlaners is coming late to lane, if enemy top side came late to lane and you’re playing on blue side the jungler started red. Use vision in the rivers to track him down and pay attention to minimap

5. When fighting over scuttle crab you should gank the closest lane to get lane priority, wich mean your ally will be closest to you after you run into enemy jungler at scuttle crab. Ganking will make them fall back more.

Looking at this picture you can se you have low lane potential. Your ally is low and the minions is pushing trough your tower. It would be risky figthing in the river because your midlaner would be late to the figth.

What you can do, is waiting for the enemy midlaner minions to be farmed but not all, then you can go for a potential gank.
This tecnuiqe is very effective as it gives you a safer fight in river.
CONCLUSION
Thank you for reading my guide!

I will make it more fancy over time, but right now I tried to spread some good information about ganking, team comp to items.

If you want I will be really happy on your toughts about the guide in the comments!

Thank you for your time and have a great day :-)
