Not a bad combo. But I think the thing you have to focus on is Rammus' passive, which makes his armor key. By substituting in health items for armor items like 
Thornmail, Frozen Heart and Guardian Angel, you sacrifice 50% armor for a small gain in health. I use a build that generates 544 armor and 2782 health at lvl 18. I think the armor is worth it.
