I recommend if you are a new player or low elo (Below Masters 300) to permaban akali. She is extremely difficult to deal with because of her shroud as it completely negates your kit. The other reason is because she has an extremely large gap closer which makes it super difficult to stay in XP range to soak compared to other champions. The final reason is because her playrate is also quite popular in both low and high elo. So taking all 3 reasons into account, hence she is my recommendation to ban for new and low elo players.
If you do have to verse her,
TP/Exhaust. You need the TP to get back to lane to soak enough for level 6.
Buy an early negatron cloak so she can't 100-0 you. You build eventually kaenic rookern (if you primarily will 1v1 her in side). This will guarentee you will beat her late game.
No need for gunblade. The negatron cloak (eventual kaenic) should be enough for you to survive her burst.
DShield
Rumble
If you are high elo (masters 300+ or higher), I recommend banning rumble as he gets extremely more difficult to deal with compared to akali. This is because you legit cannot itemize against rumble as he will get 60% magic shred if he max his W. On top of that, he has really good poke with his Q and E, just too much statchecking.
Note: I will test out gunblade's sustain is enough to deal with rumble and will update this portion but as of writing, I have not tested that.
Now, if you do have to verse him, your only bet is to not die and scale to level 11 where you can finally start to contest and level 16 where you auto win.
UltraGigaBichboi | MS and slow resist
Swifty
Try and save fleet for whenever he tries to run at you so you can have it help you to run away.
DShield
Don't build MR, he shreds MR. Your best bet will be to get sustain with gunblade.
TP/Barrier
Gnar
Gnar, similar to akali, is very threatening in lane if you misposition even a little bit. This is because he also has very good gap closure because of both his ranged and enraged E. If he E's on top of you in ranged form, he gets another instance of his E to basically prevent you from running away from him in lane. Just pay attention to your positioning verses gnar and be prepared for his enraged dive. The second that he becomes enraged and you see him jump on you, IMMEDIATELY ULT. DO NOT WAIT for him to enrage engage and stun you as he has around a 3 second long stun lock combo with his W and R and that is enough time to take away 75% or higher of your hp.
I have not tested gunblade for this M.U yet. Once tested, I will update whether to go gunblade or nashors. Fow now, nashors default
TP/Exhaust. You need the TP to get back to lane to soak enough for level 6.
DShield
Fleet Poke Or Ultra-Giga-Bichboi (if you think you'll be camped).
Tabi rush if jungler is AD and you think you'll be camped.
Kennen
Kennen is another hard match up. Similar to the other 5 level threats, he has insane poke but also a really good gap closure so it's really hard to outrun. Similar to Gnar, pay attention to your position in lane against kennen so you don't get run down.
I've not tested gunblade in this match up yet. For now nashors. Will update once tested.
TP/Exhaust. You need the TP to get back to lane to soak enough for level 6.
Ultra-Giga-Bichboi
DShield
Merc Treads if jungler is also AP (can sell later for swifty)
Can also grab an early negatron cloak if need.
Singed
Easy match up where you can both pressure and outscale him.
PTA with slow resist shard.
DBlade
Get priority level 1 to shove cannon wave and recall for cull.
Afterwards, farm until 1k to rush swifty boots. When you have swifty boots, he can never get on top of you without burning both ghost and flash.
Warning: If you're looking to poke him under his turret, becareful when standing near his outer turret range as that's where he wants to root you and flip into his turret when your wave is about to be cleared.
TP/Flash or Ghost/Flash.
You can take either but I personally prefer TP/Flash because I like being able to TP back for tempo.
Q Max for
Shen
Just watch out for his sword placement and try your best to not position between shen and his sword so that he can't slow you with his sword pull.
Shen is just a statcheck matchup. You will lose every trade against him pre-6. XP > CS pre level 6. Once level 6, can farm. Just careful about his E (taunt) range as gettin taunted will automatically lose you the trade and rip 40-50% HP. Don't auto or E when he has his parry up, but you CAN Q him during parry.
Make sure to SPAM PING your team once he hits level 6 so that your team isn't surprised when shen ults someone and to expect it.
Once 11, stack your passive and you will win trades.
Standard PTA
DBlade (even though we aren't winning pre-6), Dblade will get more value than Dshield once you're level 6+ since shen isn't a poke champ).
Once you're more experienced with this MU, I recommend swapping over to First Strike.
Malphite
Pseudocounter
Many people think malphite counters kayle but they just don't know how to go about the MU. I've NEVER lost a malphie MU once I knew how to play against.
This is a MU where you look to just scale to level 11 and autowin. How to get to 11 against malph? It's simple and I will explain.
What is malph's gameplan? He max Q and just spam Q's you inlane until you're low enough for him to ult and kill you. It's a really straightforward playstyle which you can easily counter.
For new players, I recommend the ULTA-GIGA-BICHBOI fleet page as this will help you with any small / minor mistakes you might make. Once you're more experienced on how to go about this match up, Fleet into Celerity and GS because you don't need more than fleet. Make sure to have double HP scaling shards against malphite. Adaptive shard since you're not autoing malphite.
Farm up against malphite and that's it. IF you are going to get Malphite Q'd, it has to be for a reason. Either for a CS (preferably canon) or damaging him. Don't let him Q you for free, it has to be for a reason. Rush Gunblade 1st item against malphite and you will have enough sustain in lane so he can never threaten you.
DShield.
Barrier/TP or Flash/TP. I personally go barrier/TP because this makes it virtually impossible for him to dive or kill you ever.
Fleet Poke (adaptive into double HP scaling).
Teemo
Pseudocounter
Teemo is basically the same thing as malphite where he looks to just poke you enough to dive you.
New players, ULTRA-GIGA-BICHBOI runepage. Once more experienced, Fleet Poke. Adaptive and Double HP scaling shard.
When farming cannon minion against teemo, I recommend saving your Q to farm it since if he blinds you, you'll miss the canon with auto.
Barrier/TP.
Gunblade Rush.
DShield.
Fleet Poke or Ultra-Giga-BichBoi
Once level 6, swap out to Red/Sweeper since it will be useful to check where he places his Ult (shrooms) so you don't walk into them. Only downside is you have to play a bit more cautious since you don't have yellow trinket, so I recommend purchasing a control ward once you swap over to sweeper.
Other than that, similar to malphite, once you're 11, stack your passive and you'll beat him in trades.
Ornn
Depending on what rune he takes, you'll play the levels 1-3 differently.
1. Grasp | Take E level 1 and obtain priority. You can beat him, but only if you dont let him constantly proc his grasp. By this I mean E him in lane to begin, and start stacking passive. Maintain spacing so that he doesn't proc his grasp until you have wave priority and you can start pressuring him. Get your cannon shove and base for cull.
2. Aery | Some ornns will go this cheesy aery build against ranged users and then rush bramble vest so each time the ranged autos, it procs aery. It's a super cheesy set up where they're planning on you damaging yourself into lethal range and they can sustain. Rush Gunblade into this set up so you completely negate his gameplan. Same thing and just get early priority against him lv 1.
DBlade if he has Grasp
Dblade or DShield for aery. I recommend Dshield, since more consistent against aery ornn, but Dblade is more kill pressure.
Standard PTA
Flash/TP
Once more experienced, swap out to First Strike, much better against ornn.
Kled
Know his Chicken HP vs HIS HP bar
No prio against kled early game. Look to get 6 as best as you can. Once 6, you can start contesting.
Becareful if kled's mounted since he can engage on you from a short distance.
If Kled is DISMOUNTED, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T UNDERESTIMATE his mount regeneration bar as it is very deceiving. I can't tell you how many times people think Kled's mount bar is low and think they can burst him down only for him to regen his mount bar from 25-100% in like 2.5 seconds and die afterwards. IF kled is dismounted, make sure hes at 5-10% HP AND you can burst him down.
FYI : If kled is dismounted with zero mount bar, it takes him rouhly 4 seconds if he Q's 2x and autos with his W on to get his mount again.
- Standard PTA (can take bone plating + unflinching if you think >50% you'll be camped)
- TP/Exhaust
- Cloth Armor + Refill if jungler is also AD. (tabi rush, sell later for swifty). IF jungler is AP, DBlade.
Zac
Zac's Gameplans.
1. Q's you then a minion > E onto you.
So try and dodge his Q.
2. E'ing on top of you out of vision.
Basically, dodge his Q and if hes FOG, assume his charging his E to engage on you.
Swiftys will help you dodge his Q and E.
Standard PTA with MS shard.
Keep in Mind: Some zacs will be cheesy and let you shove the wave and E onto you from FOG and then kill you with the turret aggro.
Trundle
Free lane.
Trundle's Gameplan. Pillar you, slow you, run at you, and then auto you to death. It's super one dimensional similar to garen's gameplan.
You will lose all trades pre-6. Once 6, lane is free. So soak to 6 as best you can. Rush swifty
PTA with MS & slow resist shard
TP/Flash or Ghost/Flash
Can start Boots or DBlade.
As long as you don't misposition and let him run in range to auto you, you will auto win this lane.

Garen
Like Trundle, free M.U
Garen, like trundle, his gameplan is to just run at you to do his combo and kill you. If you just don't let him get on top of you, then he can never threaten.
As long as you don't misposition or get caught from FOG, it's a free lane.

Against anivia, dodge her Q and you'll be fine.
The only annoying part about her is once she hits 6, it becomes quite uninteractable like xerath and lux where she will have perma priority against you with her ult until you're level 6 to match her waveclear.
Less experienced players Gunblade. Nahors when more experienced.
Cassiopeia
Similar to Anivia. Gameplan for you is to dodge her Q's so rushing swifty's is essential. DO NOT take extended trades against her, even if she misses her Q as she statchecks you in the early game. Rush blasting wand against her so you can poke her with Q and potentially PTA proc.
PTA w/ Double adaptive and slow resist shard.
DShield Start. Boots for more greedy start.
Gunblade for less experienced. Nashors when more experienced.
Gwen
We all know how broken gwen is in the 2026 meta and everyone complaining about her. Luckily for us kayle servants, we counter Gwen!
Gwen's gameplan is very straightforward. She engages on you with her E (short dash, like kayn) and deals damage while her W is active (that big circle that makes you can't land skillshots or auto her unless you're directly inside the zone). When she engages with her short dash and her W (big circle), just stop trying to fight her and disengage and wait until her W is on CD. Then you can trade against her.
Another thing is that once she has ult, you have to becareful about being run down as she gets 3 charges with her ult and each one slows you by a lot!
This is a match up where you do have priority early levels. Take Dblade and establish priority in lane level 1 to shove the cannon wave. Then, do your best to get to level 6, at which point it becomes skill match where you wait out her E and W engage and you can trade back. When she ults, do your best to dodge her ult (she can shoot her ult 3 times, each one stacking in damage! 1st ult doesn't do much, 2nd is medium damage, and last one hits like truck! Do your best to dodge the last one OR ULT the last one!)
Standard PTA with MS/tenacity & slow resist shard
DBlade
Swifty Rush
Once you're level 11, as long as you stack your passive first, you will automatically beat her in all trades. Legit once level 11, you can go ape mode and just run straight at her and stand directly beneath her W and auto her to death. Just make sure you ulti the last part of her Ult. Once level 16, its no competition.
Urgot
Kayle is urgot's biggest counter. As long as you pay attention to your positioning in lane, he can't kill you. His only possible play against you is to buffer his E > Flash on top of you. If he doesn't have flash, you should never die to him with good positioning and kiting.
Level 1, he will beat you. There's also a possibility he will zone you from the first 3 melees as well. If he does do that you have two options. You can wait for the last second the melees die and walk up, which he will then E onto you, meaning you're trading HP for the XP. I've found this to be worth it as the sustain from DShield and taking W second is enough trade to get me back to around 75-80% HP after that trade.. The 2nd option would be if you can reach the alcove (section behind the middle bush in lane) without him spotting you, you can wait there for the 3 melees, but you have to find a way back to your turret without him spotting you or he will just E on top of you.
Other than that level 1, you literally just poke him with E off CD as he has no abilities that can retaliate since his Q and E are very slow. Or you can prioritize farm. Try and learn to do both if you can in this match up. Once you're level 6, stack your passive up and rush swifties with MS and slow resist shards and he will NEVER be able to engage on you unless you misposition or he buffers E > Flash on you. The moment you reach 6, you can start bullying him, just make sure your passive is stacked.
Best way to use your ult here would be to use it when he ults as your ult completely negates his.

Olaf
This M.U used to be very olaf favored until you identify what olaf's gameplan is, then it becomes kayle favored. It's the exact same thing as garen and trundle. Just run at you and auto you to death. How do you counter? For olaf specifically, you need Phase Rush since his game plan involves running at you by SLOWING you, NOT by speeding himself up (once he has ult, yes he has speed up). Everytime he tries to run at you, Q > Auto > E and run/evade his Q (axe throw). If your Phase Rush is on CD, make sure not to walk too far forward to get caught by his axe. It's similar to nasus's playstyle, only it becomes kayle favored the moment you hit 6.
Phase Rush

Yorick
Yorick is basically the illaoi match up. Dodge his E, you win. If you get hit by his E?, not as punishing as Illaoi's but annoying, especially if he goes comet.
Early gameplan differs depending on what rune he takes.
1. Comet? Start E and get priority level 1 to shove cannon wave.
2. Grasp? You won't win if he's semicompetent so just farm and hold the wave on your side as long as possible.
3. Conquerer is same as comet.
Try and dodge his W (cage).
Dshield
TP/Flash
Standard PTA with MS/slow resist shard.
I prefer E max in this scenario to kill his minions faster since you're not outpushing him in the early anyways.
Gunblade 1st item in this match up since it prevents you from getting pushed out of lane pre-11 so yorick has little pressure to take the turret.
Once he has maiden, he'll have perma priority against you until level 11. Don't underestimate maiden's damage!
I'm experiecned with yorick since I used to main him. Search up "yorick and tyler1" XD
Pantheon
Pantheon isn't as hard a match up as many people make it out, it's more a skill match up that's slightly favors him.
Pantheon's gameplan is just two things.
1. Pokes you with Q until you're low enough to all in or dive.
2. W's (jumps) you in lane and win the trade.
You will lose pre-6 in trades. Only thing you can do is farm and poke with Q. If he is good, you will never be able to E him as your E range is the same/shorter than his W range,
Once level 6, you can start farming but again, your auto range is still in his W range so keep that in mind, so still try to only poke.
Do your best to dodge his Q's. If he W's you, it's a guarenteed Q on your face.
If you manage to push the wave and hitting turret, keep in mind he can ult the wave and stun you under turret. Instead of running away, sometimes I like to run INTO his ult as pantheon's tend to aim ulti slightly behind you. So running into his ult makes it a bit easier to run away.
If you're trying to execute him and he E (his parry), you can only damage him from behind the direction he's facing. You can flash behind him if you think you can execute him.

Zed's major threat is that his ult CD is on a way shorter CD than yours. If he is good, he will try and force your ult out and then repeat again when your ult is on CD.
Zed match up is about predicting and dodging his (WEQ) combo. If you dodge, you win. If you don't, you lose.
You can start DBlade and get priority level 1 and crash cannon wave.
Gunblade for new users. Nashors when more experienced.
TP/F or Tp/Exhaust or Exhaust/F. I prefer TP/Exhaust since it lets me TP back incase you got hit by a hard combo.

DBlade Start. Can rush tabis for safety to sell later for swifty.
*If zed goes voltaic, it will be hard to ktie his combo so becareful.
Quinn
This is basically the varus match up but slightly harder since she has a hard engage with her E and the forsaken blind similar to graves.
Like any other ranged match up, you lose early so prioritize soaking xp until level 6.
Careful if she sits in bush as she can hard engage with E and catch you out.
Once she's 6, spam ping your team if she's ever not in lane. Also becareful of her ult engage with E.
PTA (double adaptive + HP scaling) (can take second wind + unflinching if >50% you will be camped).

Tryndamere
This M.U is just all about surviving until level 11, then you have the advantage.
IF he has HoB instead of LT, be VERY CAREFUL of his E in the early levels as it can chunk 40% of your HP, or more if he crits.
You will lose ALL trades pre-6. Do your best to soak XP until level 6. Once 6, you can start to kite him out and it becomes a skill match up based on how well you can position and kite (or how well he gambles his crits XD).
Cloth armor start ALWAYS (doesn't matter if enemy jng is not AD) into rush tabis. You will sell later for swiftys.
TP/Exhaust
Standard PTA + bone plating and unflinching.
Q Max
IF you want, you can rush wardens mail into Frozne heart if you are THAT afraid, but I personally found tabi's is enough because if you go Frozen heart, you have no damage. to trade back and he can just ignore you and go for turret instead. Tabis is all the defense you really need in this M.U.
Late game, if you really need the kiting, you can grab rylais. Zhonyas is also useful if you need.
Poppy
Pay attention to your positioning according to where poppy is and the walls.
Poppy''s gameplan is quite straightforward.
1. She short trades with her dash in and pokes you with ranged auto
2. Slams you against a wall and stuns you to deal lots of damage.
You will lose every extended trade against her pre-6. Short trades only. Once, level 6, you can start to trade evenly. Just make sure when she picks up her shield from her ranged auto, to wait it out before trading. Once level 11, you will auto win as long as you're even.
Keep in mind when farming under your turret, she might try and slam you into your turret or wall for a quick dive and run away with shield. Again, pay attention to positioning relative to walls/turrets.

Gangplank
This is a skill match up pre 11. You dodge his barrels, you win. If you don't dodge his barrels, it'll be hard. Can you time his barrels to auto/E to break them? You win.
GP's gameplan is to spam his Q's on you and force you out of lane. Luckily, it is very short range. Play this similar to malphite in the early game where you only let him Q you for a reason, like for CS or holding wave. GP also likes to put barrels in bushes and connect another on top of you to surprise, so keep in mind when near bushes.
Short trades against GP only pre-6. Once 6, you can actually run him down if he mispositions and doesn't land a barrel. Once level 11, stack your passive and you will auto win. You will auto beat him late game, as long as you don't get barreled in the face out of vision.

If she goes HoB, just play very safe early game and just poke/farm with q till 6.
Try your best to dodge her Q (shoots out her dogs, has 2 charges).
When she ults you, try to save your ult since you're rushing tabis so it won't do much damage, alongside exhaust. Only ult when you need to.

Dodge his W (pull) and you'll win. Careful for his E (dash) as he'll mask his 2nd Q (knock up) with his Dash) and catch you off to follow up with his pull.

Irelia
This is a very snowbally match up, with favoring her as she has fuild build at BORK XD. You can beat her 3-0 early game, but the second she gets BORK, you have to treat her like a raid boss and play smart.
Standard PTA, AS & Adaptive + 65HP shards.
Ignite/Flash
DBlade
E Max
Levels 1, start E. If she walks in range, just E her. Begin autoing the minions to stack passive. Once you have passive stacked, WALK UP and start contesting her. DO NOT wait until your 3 melees are low enough for her to Q onto to stack her passive. IF Q's onto you and start autoing. Pop your pot immediately! You will win the level 1 against her as long as you don't cancel autos.
IF she gets down to 50-60% HP, ignite her. This will either force her to all in you or back off. If she all ins, you win. If she backs off, you get priority and you get priority and shoving cannon for free. Even if she has ignite, she will lose.
IMPORTANT*** WHEN BOTH of you are all ins, try to kite AWAY FROM HER MINIONS AND TOWARDS YOURS. This way, your minions help you dmg her and her minions don't damage you.
Next, try to hold the wave to your turret for as long as possible until 6.
When both of you are 6, WAIT for the wave to bounce back at your turret and trade HP to hold it there (IF YOU CAN). Stack up your passive at your turret and she can never hop on to you since she will take turret damage.
IF you're at the middle of the lane, just concede all minions and soak until she slow pushes back to you.
IF she lands E on you in the middle of lane without you stacking passive, you will lose.
Again, main idea is to have your passive stacked up before you fight irelia.
The second she gets BORK, PLEASE RESPECT HER. You'll win, but you have to stack your passive first.
I also recommend going SF/Void/Crypto as your 3rd item since most irelias will build witz end.
Sion
Another straight forward M.U. You will not have priority in the early game. Once 6, you can start to contest and trade against him, but he'll have the pushing power. Once 11, if he's tank sion, you auto win.
Depending on what build sion is going for, you'll play the M.U differently. If it's tank, you'll be rushing BORK 1st tiem and you'll win the M.U the moment you complete it. If it's AD lethality, you have to be VERY careful of his FoG / Bushes Q.
Tank sion, you will never beat in the early game if he's semi competent since they ALWAYS take grasp. AD Lethality you can technically win pre-6 if they mis-step since they only have Phase Rush. Just becareful with BOTH when they die since zombie form still does damage, ESPECIALLY AD Lethality sion. A good AD Lethality sion will try to E (slow) you the moment right before he dies so his passive can catch up to you can just kill you in 3 autos so becareful. Btw, if he E's you right before he dies, zombie sion only needs 2 autos to proc Phase Rrush so keep in mind.
Tank Sion?

Statcheck M.U. No priority early game. Once 6, it will still be hard to kill him since WW healing on minions is OP and try not to trad e your ult for his, since his is on lowerer CD. He REALLY has to misplay for you to kill him. Once 11, still hard to kill him because of his healing. 16, you'll auto win the majority of time.
I recommend only buying Oblivion orb when your nashors is completed. Do not complete into morellos. You'll sell it later for another AP item since late game you don't really need the healing reduc to kill him unless there's BOTH sona and seraphine or soraka on enemy team.

You CAN eventually build QSS for WW's ulti. But I found you can just burst him down late game very fast so you don't really want it UNLESS the enemy team also has something like a liss or ashe, or comp with lots of CC.
Riven
This is a skill M.U.
- Riven has 3 dashes in her Q, with 3rd being knock up. W is stun. E and dash and shield.
- Pay attention to how many charges into her Q she has so you don't get surprised gap closed. Some rivens will be cheesy and use the 1st and 2nd Q charge in FoG so they can catch you off in lane with an instant 3rd Q knockup.
- Flash/Exhaust

- Dblade | Cloth armor + refill if enemy jng is AD and you think you'll be camped.
- Q max
Lv 1, hold your abilities. If she lets you E her for free, start E. If not, Q start and farm the 3 melees.
Pre-6, exhaust is best done on her 3rd Q since she'll follow up with her W stun. Only do this if she hard engages. Once you exhaust, you can trade back against her to proc PTA and fall back afterwards.
Only poke / short trades against her where she can't trade back.
Soak XP as best as you can until 6.
Once 6, you can start to contest her, but only when the wave is on your side and you have passive stacked. Otherwise, only poke.
When you're 6, counter her 3rd Q with your ult if you know she's going to all in. This is because she'll follow up with her W stun and ult you so if you don't ult before her 3rd Q, you'll eat all that damage. If you can do this, you'll most likely win the trade (just make sure you have passive stacked). On top of exhaust as well.
Just becareful and treat riven like irelia. Try not to fight her unless your ultimate is up.
Vayne
Similar to Varus, you won't have priority early game. Only short trades / Q poke. Like other ranged match ups, Blasting wand rush.
Try not to let her get 3 autos in to proc PTA or her W passive while farming/soaking. Only 1 or 2 autos is acceptable.
Just pay attention to your positioning so she can't tumble (Q) and auto you for free.
Once 6, still same gameplan. No extended trades against her, only short trades until she's in lethal range.
Pay attention to your positioning to walls, similar to poppy. So she can't E you into a wall as easily.
Once level 11, you can match her and it becomes skill match up. Once 16, you'll auto win if you went even.

Sett
Sett is all about positioning/spacing/Kiting, similar to garen and trundle. If he can run at you and E you, he wins. If you keep distance and kite well, you win.
No priority early game, so only short pokes/trades.
Once 6, you can start contesting by kiting him.
Best way to use your ult would be to save it for his W (shield with punch), meaning you negate his main damage source.

Aatrox
Skill M.U.
1. Can you position well to dodge his Qs? Also Q + E combo
2. Can you outrun his W tether?
Establish early priority. Start E. Against aatrox, you can actually get level 1 prio and shove cannon wave. Just make sure to be able to predict his Q's as they do hurt, as well as Q + E dash combo.
Save your W in this match up primarily for when he W tethers you. The majority of times, you'll be able to run out of his tether if you save your W speed up.
Once 6, it becomes a skill match up with your positioning to dodge his Qs and kite him out.

Mordekaiser
Another statcheck match up, but only at level 6.
Pre-6, E start and establish early priority to shove cannon wave.
Once 6, unless you dodge 4/5 of his Q's, you'll mostly lose the trade if he's semi-competent since mord jus statchecks you. IF he misses a Q, you can proceed to kite and punish him.
Once he ults you, you'll be isolated, making his Q's hit like a truck. Your only goal is to survive his ult and kite him out unless he's low enough for you to kill. When he ults, he'll have 2 chances to use isolated Q. Use your ult to tank the 1st isolated Q. Then afterwards, if you need to, use the exhaust for the 2nd isolated Q.
Obviously try and dodge his E pull as when he pulls, 99% he'll ult you. Try and doge his Q's in lane as well. Keep in mind his shield as it is VERY BIG if fully stacked.
The match up will be played like this until level 16 where you just statcheck him and autowin.

This match up is basically can you dodge his Q's? If so, you'll win. If not, you lose, ESPECIALLY if he goes HoB.
Whether Grasp or HoB Cho, you won't have priority early. Do your best to soak early game to 6.
If however you get hit by a HoB cho's Q, you'll most likely loose 40-50% of your HP, similar to Yi.
Start Boots + Refill pot + MS shard. This will make it much easier for you to dodge his Q's. Into Swifty Rush
IF you do get hit by 6 and you're in lethal range of his combo, you need to preemptively ult right before his W since you'll be silenced and won't be able to cast your ult.

E Max if you're confident you can dodge his Qs. Q max if you aren't confident and need it to slow him from walking up to you after getting knocked up.
Camille
Thanks to the new terrain, camille was indirectly nerfed since her playstyle revolves around terrain, similar to illaoi. But unlike illaoi, they can't just directly buff her E range compared to illaoi's tentacle range since that can mean increased Camille suppport or Mid, which isn't her intended roles.
Similar to vayne and poppy, this is a playstyle which revolves around your positioning to walls. If you're directly near a wall, very easy to land her E. If you're a bit further away, it's still hard to dodge her E, but you at least have a chance now.
Grasp or Camille
- you will not have priority level 1
- do your best to soak to level 6 and then you can start contesting when the wave is on your side + passive stacked
- Conquerer / PTA Camille
IF she has ignite, you will not have early priority. If she doesn't have ignite, then you have early priority to shove cannon wave.
Once 6, only contest her when wave is on your side and passive stacked. Otherwise, you will lose.
Try and save your ult for her empowered Q (2nd part of it) that does true damage.
If she throws out her W, try and walk INTO her so you don't get hit by the outer range, similar to darius's Q as it does more damage and heal her if hit outer range.
When level 11, you can start contesting evenly, but stack passive first.
When level 11, you'll auto win majority of times.

Darius
Statcheck M.U. You actually statcheck Darius level 1, but you have to make sure you E him at least 2-3 times before comitting to an all in.
E start. E him when he walks in range and wait out until you can E again. Then if he tries to all in you, just all in him. Even if he has ignite you'll win, but most darius goes ghost/flash anyways.
Afterwards, any time the wave isn't on yoru side and on his side, you have to be careful and just stay in xp range. Only contest him when the wave is on YOUR side and you have passive stacked up. If you're the one beginning the engage, you can 100-0 him. IF HE engages on you, you'll most likely lose.
Try and time your ult to cancel his ult to negate it. If you can do this, you'll most likely win the fight.
Once level 11, it becomes extremely in your favor if you're even in items as you statcheck him now as long as passive is stacked.
Level 16, you auto win majority of times.

Fiora
This match up is in your favor the moment you hit 6, as long as you have good positioning and spacing/kiting.
Pre-6, laning phase is kinda determined through luck with her vital positions. If it's behind you, you can safely walk up. If it's anywhere in front, make sure to position yourself where it's harder for her to proc her vitals. i.e if its a top vital, hover top side near the wall so she can't proc it, etc.
You will lose pre-6, so do your best to soak to 6.
Once 6, it's all about spacing. If you can space / out kite her, you'll win.
Try and predict when she'll use her W (parry) so you don't waste your Q or E.
When she ults you, you'll have 4 vitals on you, each at the 4 cardinal positionals. Legit all you have to do is hover one of the walls so she can't proc all 4 vitals and you'll most likely win the fight. So basically, when she ults, if you have a wall towards the right side that you can just hug and stand still, just legit stand still and fight her without moving so she can never proc that vital.
You also want to try and save your ulti as much as possible so that she has to parry before your ult.
TIP. Your ult prevents fiora from procing any vitals, so keep that in mind to prevent her from procing all 4 vitals.
Otherwise, at level 6, it's a skill match up based on positioning.
When 11, it becomes in your favor when your passive stacked.
When 16, you'll auto win majority of times.

Yone match up is all about spacing and kiting his E. You can do this, you'll be fine. Also try and predict his Q's.
The hard part comes when he has BORK and can statcheck you with just his E. You have to treat this match up like irelia. When you don't have R, you'll lose. If you do, you can win but only when wave is on your side or you have passive stacked up.

Dr. Mundo
This is a very easy match up as long as you have good macro and can dodge most of his Q's.
You will have priority against him level 1, even if he goes grasp, to shove cannon wave. Then, dodge majority of his Q's. Rush BORK. The second you have bork, similar to sion, you will auto win the match up as long as you went even.

Jax
Contrary to believe, Jax isn't that bad of a match up from MY personal experience. Yes, his E is the only thing that counters you, but it's only for 2.5 seconds. You'll eventually outscale him and his E won't matter when you can just statcheck him. It's just the laning phase where most people have a problem dealing with him but if you can get through that, it's fine.
This match up is all about survival and spacing/kiting to an extent.
Level 1, you will lose since he will start E. Start Q to farm the 3 melees. If he zones you, just start E and E him. Afterwards, try and hold the wave on your side for as long as possible to soak 6. When wave is on his side, just soak until it slow pushes back.
Try to space well so he can't Q + E onto you. If you can't, then preemptively Q before he Q + E onto you so you can kite him out after getting stunned.
If the wave is on your side, he can never jump on to you since he'll take turret damage. That's where you can bully him.
ONLY bully/trade when wave is on YOUR SIDE where you're safe under turret.
Otherwise, wait and just soak until wave bounce back to you.
- Standard PTA | Can take bone plating/unflinching if you think you'll be camped

Level 16, you will statcheck him the majority of times and win.
Just becareful of AP jax as he has a lot of burst with E. Standard AD jax you don't have to worry too much about burst.
Sylas
The match up slightly favors sylus once level 3-10 because his W healing is too strong.
Level 1, start E to get early priority to shove cannon wave.
Be able to predict his 2nd E. Even then, you still might lose the trade if he lands a W on you since his W is too strong early on.
If he ever misses his 2nd E however and you're both 100HP, you can all in him since your 100% all in is stronger than his since he is a short trade champion.
Once 6, you win if you can force out his Ult before yours. If you're forced to ult before his, you'll lose.

Yasuo
Skill M.U. Early levels, if he's semicompetent you won't have early priority unless he misses his Qs.
Early levels, play to let him shove and hold the wave as long as possible on your side. When the wave is on his side, just stay in range to soak XP since he can run you down.
This match up is all about spacing/kiting.
**Windwall
- his windwall prevents projectiles as everyone knows.
This means he can block both your E and ranged autos.
HOWEVER, Kayle autos are coded differently based on the distance that you auto. If you auto ranged distance, they are ranged projectiles. IF you auto in melee ranged, they are no longer projectiles and you can actually auto yasuo even if he windwalls if you stand in melee range.

Gragas
This is a skill M.U, but I put 4 (major threat) becaise it favors the gragas because his CDs are shorter than you so if you make one positional mistake your lane is pretty much over.
This lane is all about positioning and being able to dodge his Q (barrels). If you can do that, you'll be fine. If you can't, then you lose.

Try not to trade when he Ws (drinks alcohol) as he gets reduced damage during this time, similar to yi W.
Becareful about autoing his turret when the wave is pushed up. He'll just ult you can push you into turret and insta clear the wave, and you'll die to turret in a very cheesy way.
Aurora
Mostly Skill M.U. that favors aurora.
Can you dodge her Q and E? You'll be fine. If you can't predict her Q and E, you'll lose.

Similar to vayne, you can take sweeper at level 6+ to see where she goes invis.
Varus
Statcheck M.U. Similar to Vayne. You'll lose extended trades against him early, so play only poke and short trades. Soak XP till 6.
Try not to let him proc PTA.
Once 6, poke/short trade until he's in lethal range and you can all in.
If he ults you, time your ult to negate his blight stack (3x) damage.
Once level 16, you'll auto win. I recommend grabbing a QSS so that you can remove his ult IF needed.

Illaoi
Similar to Yorick, if you dodge her E's you win. You get hit, you lose. A lot more punishing than yorick's E.
If she E's and Ult's you, you have to run unless you can INSTA burst her down. If you can't insta burst her down, you have to disengage as she heals a lot when she lands BOTH her E and ult both the spirit and you.
Gunblade for inexperienced. Nashors when experienced.
If she goes grasp, you lose early game. If she goes conquerer, you can contest level 1 and shove cannon.

Vladimir
In low elo, he isn't much of a threat since people don't know how to pilot him as well. Once you get into high elo, a good vlad will perma tower dive you and force you to base or ult.
This is just a statcheck match up where you'll mostly lose pre-6 unless he somehow lets you walk up in melee range at max passive stacks.
Once 6, you will only engage short trades against him when he uses his Q on minion, OR he doesn't have empowered Q. You'll win the short trades with PTA and you just rinse and repeat.
Once level 11, it will still be hard.
Once level 16, you will beat him automatically you're the first to engage on him (preferrable from FoG). If he engages on you first, you'll have to time your ult to negate his E and Q damage (his ult does less damage).
The 1 tech that will guarentee let you beat vladimir in a 1v1 late game is going to be Kaenic Rookern. Vladimir falls in the category of a burst mage as he doesn't have consistent damage like you with autos. If you can prevent him from bursting you down level 16+, you will win the 1v1s. Teamfighting is a different story though since you can't all build kaenic rookern.
If you need, you can build an early negatron cloak to survive the early laning phase if needed.

Volibear
Unfortuantely, volibear is a statcheck match up and he can kinda just do quick tower dives on you once he hits level 4. This match up is all about not dying until level 6.
SImilar to garen's and trundle's gameplan of running at you to kill you.
Pre-6 is most volatile. You have to be very careful about positioning since he has a very long timer on his speed up.
Once 6, hold the wave on your side as long as possible so that way you can poke/trade against him without him being able to do so in return.
Unfortuantely, he can also do quick tower dives on you because of his shield until you're in lethal range to all in. Again, just do your best to survive and scale.

Basically can you dodge his Q? Can you predict when he'll engage from FoG with is W? You'll be fine.

Once 6, it's still in his favor but you can technically outplay him by your positioning and kiting him, specifically his melee Q engage. If you can kite his melee Q engage and electric shield, you'll be fine and most likely will win the trade.
Try and dodge his Q and E/Q combo.
- DShield. Cloth armor if enemy jungler is AD and you think you'll be camped.

Master Yi
FYI, I've never lost this M.U a single time before.
Master Yi is a very cheesy M.U where he only gets ahead based off of the ego/naivety of the other player. You legit just have to NEVER walk in range for him to directly Q on top of you to proc HoB. If you do, you lose 40-50% of your HP. As long as you get to level 6 without dying, you have a free M.U.
Once level 6, yi can never directly Q onto you without fully commiting because you can kite him out afterwards and force his ult to either run away OR ult to you, with which you will react with your ult and kill him since he no longer has Q. If you want, you can build tabis and wardens mail to really shut him down further on top of exhaust, but I've found TP/Exhaust to be enough.
- Standard PTA | Double Adaptive + 65HP (for a safer pre-6)
- DShield or Cloth armor Start.
- TP/Exhaust
- Tabi rush
- Can go tabis AND wardens mail if you're that worried, but again I've never had to and exhaust + tabi was all I needed. As long as you have good spacing/positioning, you'll be fine.
*update* Some Yi's will try to be more cheesy by flashing on top of you before the 3rd wave crash to proc HoB to chunk you. Then they'll look to just Tower dive you afterwards. If this happens, you have to just TP back and lose 2-3 minions of XP to be at 100 HP. Again, as long as you don't give yi any early kills, you'll be fine.
Nasus
This is a very boring M.U. You basically can never kill him in lane nor should he be able to kill you if you go what the nasus runes and summoners.
Against nasus, Start DBlade and get early priority to shove cannon wave. Afterwards, hold the wave as close to your side until 6.
Once 6, your trading is only Auto > E and back off for 4 seconds before you can trade again. You need to have your Phase Rush ready whenever he withers you so you can run away.
Phase rush proc : Q > Auto > E
If he also takes phase rush and presses wither on you, you'll still be fine. If he takes ghost and decides to ghost on top of you as well, you have to ghost as well to trade. He will never be able to catch up to you if you do this. You'll also have clense just incase.
The only downside is he can wither you under turret and take a few platings for free.
On top of that, you can opt to build either Verdant barrier after nashors. Upgrade into banshees after DnD. The reason I recommend going banshees is because it has a much lower cool down than QSS (90 seconds) than verdant's (60) and banshee's (40).

Know how strong Taric and Yi is? Imagine Yi with Taric Ulti, but now he has an extra 800-1.2k dmg AoE when he dives in. Allows him to dive in without worrying about getting killed. Resets to Victory!
Keep in mind your Yi has to be competent. If he does no damage, don't ult him and just focus on yourself.
Viego
Similar to Yi as he has resets, but not as crazy, but still very strong.
Again, if he does no damage, save ult for yourself.

Approaching this M.U, if you see Kindred has ult, ONLY ULT HER AFTER SHE HAS ULTED.

The synergy is good to ult kindred or yourself after she has ulted to clean up enemies, but you have to make sure she ults first or else very bad synergy.
Zilean
Similar to Kindred, but reverse now. if you ulti right before zilean ults you, it's a waste of his ult.

Katarina is really good with Kayle ulti as she as another reset champ that can just dive first without worrying about dying because of yoru ult. The only reason I don't put her 5 is because there's no good indication when she's going to engage unless she just E's in. If she E's in and out of range, it's hard to follow up.
Renata Glasc
Another synergy that only works through proper timing of abilities. If she W's you right after you ult, it's a waste of her W.
Also, if she W's you and you're in the death defying phase and you ult during this phase, you can't save yourself unless you kill a champ in 6 seconds.
Tristana
Good synergy as another reset champ. You can tell when she'll go in to ult her if she's strong. Not crazy like a samira or yi, but still good.

Yuumi
If you reach late game kayle with Yuumi, you can REALLY carry. KITTY KITTY OP!
Hey guys! My ID is Saneryus but I go by Sanery and I hope you find my post helpful. I will update my guide every now and then if I find something new or interesting.
