Akali Passive Ability
Introduction
i made this build to fully utilize the passive Twin Disciplines.
Upon obtaining 20 ability power, Akali's hits deal 8% bonus magic damage, increasing by 1% for every 6 ability power gained thereafter. (Magic damage doesn't affect towers, but it affects other structures.)
Upon obtaining 10 attack damage, Akali gains 8% Spell Vamp, increasing by an additional 1% for every 6 attack damage gained thereafter.
At the end(if you ever get this far) the build gives you 50% spell vamp and 35% life steal. with the proc on Lichbane with the first passive on Twin Disciplines gives you high damage along with quite a bit of health. Admittedly getting stunned will be a threat seeing that the defense on this guild is solely from the deference runes, Lichbane and mercury threads. Although for team fights Akali should be one of the last ones to enter and target the AD and AP carries. One of the issues of having these expensive items is lacking early game, so building these piece by piece lets you stay at a decent strength while building into expensive items. As for that last item i like the life steal and spell vamp i gain from it and also the 1 to 1 AD ratio on crescent slash making even more burst damage but i have replaced this a few times with Zhonya's Hourglass when their team is CC heavy

I choose these masteries 30/0/0 to hit both the spell penetration and armor penetration. Starting with the 3 AD and Summoner's wrath. Hitting the 1.5% damage and the 5% AP since Akali's damage is mostly AP despite what other say the ad damage you deliver is going to show as more in the match stats but that includes damage to minions and monsters. getting both the AD and AP per level helping you stay in Lane longer. Instead of this you could always put these 8 points into the defense tree and hit both the armor and magic resist with the defense seals and mercury threads i never really needed to get these masteries.
i find ignite being most useful since while in Twilight shroud you can use it without losing your stealth allowing you to get a kill you would have died for and time to get out. exhaust would be a decent spell too but you shouldnt have to use it to catch with your ulti and in 1v1 you should always use your twilight shroud to get that extra armor and time for your mark of assassin cd. ghost is also a decent option for Akali but through matches i found ghost only useful for chasing. Flash seems like a better option since gaining that distance you can jump to minions with your ulti to get away.
