well then riven has only been out for a couple of weeks but already there's like 2123132 guides for her that honestly don't make sense riven is a very versatile champ that can easily outmaneuver her enemies so i don't see why anyone would build her as a tank or off-tank that to me is like building ****ing teemo as a tank (which ive seen sone before and it was realy stupid )so this builds focus is a damage riven coupled with a little bit of attack speed crit and a pretty decent health pool

not of much importance to me honestly i usualy max broken wings first then ki blast but if you would rather max ki blast first go ahead the one thing i dont understand is when people max valor first in my opinion its ratio of damage absorption is too low and its main use is just to either get a runic blade charge or to run away and then well obviously get your blade of the exile whenever you can

ok were getting to the good stuff

so i dont think riven should be a tank or off-tank however a damage riven is very squishy and an early double dorans + phage for a late game frozen malet is a good choice

the berserkers greaves honestly an over all good item it gives you a bit of attack speed and movement (ive seen people get the cdr boots but in my opinion attack speed is better )

ok bloodthirster a necessary ad melee champ item it gives everything you could ever want ad and lifesteal and on top of that due to your aoe abilities you should be able to kill minions and get the stacks up fast

black cleaver well this is more than anything a filler item it gives armor pen wich is good against those pesky tanks but riven doesnt actualy focus alot on standing there and auto attackig (she not nocturne ) so getting the stacks of armor pen is difficult but it gives ad armor pen and atack speed so it fit what i needed

infinity edge well this is a great late game-mid game item its unique gives it so much power to add to its crits and it gives a realy decent chunk of ad so its a good item for riven

last but not least madreds aghh this is realy a finisher for riven it gives armor wich is good for helping you survive it gives attack speed and attack damage but its passive unique is what realy sells it it synergizes great with her runic blade and since it deals the percent damage as magic damage tanks stacking ad will still be hurt by you
