Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Riven owns and this is the tank Riven jungle build that I generally use. She can be built in very different ways, but this is the most viable build in my opinion. I would use the same build for solo top but simply replace the doran's blade with boots and three potions, and replace the AD quints with MS quints.
Start at wraiths. Smite big wraith, kill the other three with your Q. Go to wolves and kill the big one first, then immediately train your W and use it mid-fight against the last two wolves. Gank mid or top if start bottom-left, mid or bottom if you start top-right.
If you don't get a gank in either lane, go back to wraiths and kill them again. Then go back and get boots and a ward, and a few potions if you can afford them.
If you did get a gank, immediately go back and get boots and one or two longswords, as well as a ward and potions with the gold you have left over.
Go kill red, then cross the river and ward their blue. If the nearest lane is open to a gank then gank it, otherwise go back and get golems, then wraiths, then wolves, then donate blue to your mid or top, then gank again like you did at the start.
If at any point their jungler appears at their blue you should immediately head over there and try to smite steal, or if they are below 50%, pop your ult, open with a w then use your second ability on the ult in their direction, they should instantly die.
You can replace anything in your forest with the equivalent in their forest if you feel capable of counter jungling.
At this point just kill anything is up, keep killing (or donating) your red and donate your blue, clear your forest and make sure to gank regularly. Make sure to ward dragon if your bottom lane support isn't, and keep wards in their jungle, or in your jungle if you're being counter-jungled.
Start of game: Doran's Blade
First trip back: Two longswords, boots, ward, potion
Third trip back: Brutalizer, phage, CD boots, ward
Fourth trip back: Frozen mallet, ward
Fifth trip: Sell doran's, get warmog's, get ward
Sixth trip: Atma's
Seventh and onwards: Situational item, defensive if you need it, offensive otherwise, or just keep an inventory slot for wards.
Riven is really fun to jungle, incredibly hot, and very effective, but here's the thing: if you don't have at least a few kills or assists by fifteen minutes then you're probably going to lose the game. Riven is a character that relies on early pressure and ganks, if you fail that at doing that, you will fail during late game.
